Open- It has to die//Dean Winchester
echoedsamâ:
âDEAN. they didnât do anything wrong.â having to raise his voice, having to point a gun at his brother? he was protecting these vampires who were feeding on cows and animals to survive;; they didnât deserve to die. how could dean not get that??
âweâll find the one thatâs killing people. but it wonât be right if we just kill them all.â
Dean was looking at his brother âSammy lower the gun.â he sighed. âAnd they are vampires, you know monsters? We hunt them?â Seriously what had gotten into Sam. The older Winchester didnât have time for this. He didnât often give creatures another chance. There was often no trusting them. He knew that. âDammit Sammy.â he seemed grumpy and impatient as it was.
âwe hunt evil, dean. if youâre going to make the argument about monsters, maybe you should start with me.â psychic - monster. that was why that other hunter, gordon, tried to kill him anyway. and honestly, he was beginning to believe it himself. and he knew dean probably was too.
their dad told dean that he might have to kill sam if he couldnât save him. what more reaffirming thing is there than that?
"there is only one killer in this nest. i wonât let you kill anyone but them. alright? so stop it. put down the weapon and weâll figure out a way to draw âem out.â

â          jessâŚ??  â        he was seeing things. he was definitely seeing things. it hadnât been the first time it happened, though it was definitely the first time she seemed⌠different to that ghost-like all knowing persona. it was definitely the first time she seemed normal. like a regular⌠human being.
well, that was aided by the fact that she was in a bar, drink in hand, seemingly chatting up the person next to her. or vice versa? he couldnât tell. that was the last thing on his mind.
maybe it was a look-a-like. jess was dead. there was no possible way that she could be here. unless someone zombiefied her, but if that was the case, there would be signs. he had just finished a hunt. everything was normal in town.
ANOTHER HUNT ,  ANOTHER TOWN .  it was becoming her same old ,  same old .  this time someone had beat her to it .  carelessly she went on with her day  :  another cheap motel ,  another sketchy bar ,  another pretty brunette sitting next to her ,  slowly giving into jessâs charm .  hand slides up the other girls thigh ,  all smiles  &  not - so - subtle flirtations right before snatching it all away upon hearing her name .  blood runs cold momentarily .  while sheâd been waiting for this ,  never did she think their meeting would be someplace like this .  eyes widen ,  expression going blank ,  as if sheâs the one seeing a ghost  &  not the other way around .  somehow they were alive  &  breathing ,  both here .  â  sam .  â  name still feels familiar on whiskey numbed lips ,  tone sparking with both surprise  &  ease .  though her body does begin to tense as she awaits for the response .  good or bad ,  she couldnât tell just yet .  â  i ,  uh â â -  â  she begins to search her mind for an answer ,  but canât find one that heâd enjoy .  counting the ways to finish her sentence is the only thing that keeps her from jumping up  &  hugging him .
she recognised him. and that was the point of the evening where something snapped inside of his mind. because she wasnât a look-a-like. she wasnât some ghost, or hallucination. this was really jess. or rather -- someone pretending to be jess in order to mess with him. but who would do that? the yellow-eyed demon? why? so many questions ran through his mind, so many possibilities, so many outcomes. but all he could think about was how dean wasnât here. he would know what to do;; he always did. why had he ran off in search for other psychics now? wy was he seeing jess?
  â  outside. now.  â
he couldnât do this in a crowded pub. especially when there was some creep that was touchy-feely his dead girlfriend next to her. somehow knowing that jess would follow ( if she didnât, heâd damn well search her down ), he turned, and headed straight out of the bar, a hand moving to the gun on his side.
if this was some kind of trick, he was going to kill her. no question. because... how dare someone disrespect jessicaâs memory like that? how dare they try and use her against him-- for god knows reason.
Open- It has to die//Dean Winchester
âIt has to die.! Thatâs all there is to it. More people will die if we donât kill it.â Dean had a firm and annoyed look. Dean didnât care what the other thought. He was going to kill the creature whether or not they agreed.
âDEAN. they didnât do anything wrong.â having to raise his voice, having to point a gun at his brother? he was protecting these vampires who were feeding on cows and animals to survive;; they didnât deserve to die. how could dean not get that??
âweâll find the one thatâs killing people. but it wonât be right if we just kill them all.â
@waywardfeathered cont. from here [ holy shit i love you ]
â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â somehow i doubt thatâs all i need to know. Â â he didnât trust people who just came up to him, seeming to know him. it was another thing if he knew his dad - or even dean. but... just him? what was he, some kind of psychic too?
but he was hurt, and apparently the focus was on him trusting sam, rather than the other way around.
before he could stop himself, he was pulling the motel door open and welcoming him in. he couldnât leave somebody in pain on his doorstep.
â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â just- sit down. youâre going to have to answer a few questions if you want me to trust you here. starting with the ones you didnât answer before. Â â

â         you better start talking â- what did I just witness? â sam wasnât about to put the gun down, not even for a second.
âI, I just⌠I donât know!â sheâs telling the truth, eyes wide with fear, unable to focus on anything but the gun pointed at her chest. âOne minute I was⌠and thenâŚâ she shakes her head, confusion evident on her features. âPlease, youâve got to believe me. I donât know whatâs going on.âÂ
sam could see that fear in her eyes. and with a small hesitation on his grip, he lowered it only slightly and backed up a little, giving her some space. he wasnât going to lower the gun entirely, but he was going to try and make her feel a little more at easy. because his gut reaction was to believe her.
â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â iâm not going to hurt you. just-- calm down. Â â with a small hesitation, he motioned to the seat with the gun. â Â take a seat. Â â he said, as he shifted, looking around the room for any sign of someone else, or something else. whether it be a ghost, demon, or some random human. check first, questions second.
echoedsam¡:
â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â thereâs a connection to the victims. they all went to the same support group out of town. kept their drug habits from their families, friendsâ- everyone. actually took a lot of digging to get the info; itâs like they had help burying it. Â â
âWell, maybe they did. We should look into the shrink, might be the lead weâre looking for. And if they went to the same support group, thatâs the one thing theyâd still have in common.âÂ
â         I have an address. pick something up to eat on the way? â if they wanted to get this thing quickly and get out of town, then there definitely wouldnât be time for a sit down dinner, which they had both been looking forward to. too bad. climbing into the car, he held one finger up, and turned to look at deanna.
â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â seriously though, you need to stop getting arrested. Â â he gave a small chuckle and shifted in his seat, pulling on the seat belt. â Â what gets me though - these are addicts who kept their addictions from their families. but they also kept their recovery from their families, too. it seems unlikely that everyone in that group kept those issues to themselves, especially when theyâre trying to better themselves. Â â

â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â funny. Â â he knew where her attitude got her. but at least she distracted them long enough for him to escape. â Â theyâll probably be on our tail again soon. we need to finish this before that happens. got anything? Â â
âOther than my startling good looks? Nothing.â She knew they had to work fast and hopefully without any more run-ins with the law. âWhat about you? You learn anything while I was in lock up?âÂ

â         is it everyday you talk to a stranger in a bar, or is it my lucky day? â he sighed. dean and him had had an argument. however bad it might be to engage with the female population again - after meg - he decided to give it a chance for once, and not push the stranger away.

echoedsamâ:
Staring at how calmly the woman seemed to handle the situation, Sam hesitated for a small moment, and then turned, shifting to look around the house for anything iron. The man had come in and threatened him, but he wasnât the only threat that was in this place. Maybe going solo on a ghost hunt wasnât the best thing he could have done.
He pulled out two of the fire pokers that were by the fireplace and turned to look at The Doctor as she finally responded. âY- yes, Iâm human.â He frowned, giving her a small odd look. Wasnât everyone who asked a question like that. He took a glance towards the man and gave a deep breath. He could tell by her attitude that she wasnât about to leave just because he told her to. Keeping the fire pokers by his side, he approached her a little, meeting her gaze.
âListen, we could be in danger here. I donât have time to explain properly, but since it looks like youâre not going to leave, take this.â He held out one of the fire pokers to her, shifting slightly forward. âPure iron is the best way to ward off ghosts.â He gave her a pointed look. âBe on the lookout for a doll with human hair too. Or â- leave. You could just leave. Might be safer for you.â
For a moment, for a fleeting moment, she thought she was about to be threatened with an iron poker. I mean, it wouldnât be the first time. But it was a very valid suspicion! Thankfully, it was not intended to threaten her with, but to arm her? Against ghosts? No wonder her TARDIS was acting up; another unnatural occurrence was happening here.Â
And⌠iron warded ghosts off? What was she meant to do, swipe at them? She didnât like it.
From the authority and confidence in Samâs voice, she could tell that this wasnât his first time. Did he make a hobby of it? So many questions she was dying to ask. But it probably wasnât the right time to ask away right now.Â
Except one.
â Whyâre we lookinâ for a doll? â
"this ghost has killed people. burning the remains is the only way to stop it.â the answer came quick, as if he had said it a million times before. he still didnât know who she was but she seemed more concerned with sam himself, rather than the events going on around them. which was odd, but it showed him that she might be able to handle this. especially since she hadnât freaked out at the whole psychic thing.
"just-- be on the lookout. and if you see the ghost, hit it with that. it doesnât kill it but itâll slow it down. believe me, itâll save your life.â
he turned, but there was a pause in his step. a thought that occurred to him; better judgement. he looked back to her. âI think itâs best for you to stay here and keep an eye on that guy. make sure heâs okay. iâm sam. whatâs your name?â
