This one’s funny, because the Hufflepuff mascot is a badger, but you’re a Ravenclaw! Doesn’t affect your patronus analysis, just felt like sharing my amusement. 

So, a badger is known for a lot of things. Not a lot of them are good. In some societies, they are seen as ‘unworthy creatures.’ In the middle ages, the term ‘badger baiter’ was a popular way of saying someone was annoying. 

However! Not all associations with our favorite digging rodent are negative! Badgers are solitary creatures, and can be rather fierce when cornered. Their remarkable digging ability can hint at a spiritual connotation of being able to unearth things that lie beneath. In some societies, having a badgers tooth is thought to bring unbeatable luck to the owner. (Kinda like a rabbits foot) 

Since you’re in Ravenclaw, and your patronus is also a badger, this can indicate that you find solace in standing alone! This can make the individualistic aspect of Ravenclaw particularly strong in you. You don’t need, nor do you want, anyone else’s validation. You have a fierce spirit that carries you through the darkest times, and the badger patronus can remind you to never give up, and keep searching, or ‘digging,’ for the things unseen!
