memphis was excited for the small vacation that got him out of luxor. he had noticed so many kids not that thrilled but didn’t understand why. they were all getting a free week trip out of the shitty school and could do what they pleased without anyone really truly noticing. as he made his way out to the pool to get drunk and lay around all day he saw a familiar face. he let out playful whistle. “looking good.” he teased as he offered his cup over to them. “care to partake?” he asked wiggling his brow. 

Olivia didn’t enjoy the fact that they were stuck in school during the summer as well, so this little vacation of sorts came at the exact right time for her not to get stir crazy. A change of scenery was always a good thing. “Thanks.” She winked, not surprised that he liked her neon orange bikini. Olivia smiled, taking a sip from the drink he handed her. “Why not?” 

The boy had been out all day, although he hadn’t spend hardly any time at the theme park, instead, he’d spent his time drinking. It was fair to say that he’d had his fair share and he was more than ready for bed. It took him long enough to walk to his cabin, he’d taken a wrong turn more than once, it didn’t help that everything seemed to look the same to him. As he approached, he noticed a figure outside the door. 

“If you wanted to share a room with me, all you had to do was ask,” he smirked, appearing next to them.

Not that her ego would let her admit it, but she had been bored and started looking for Kyle after having a few drinks with her friends, knowing that he was fun to party with, having done so several times already. 

Her lips pulled upwards into a small smirk as well, looking up at him, tilting her head sideways as if she was considering his words. “What is your little roomie going to say about that?” 

“yeah sure.” she found the thread, wrapped it around her finger once and pulled it out. she silently thanked god that her sweater didn’t unravel. “here you go. and it’s a really cute sweater by the way,” maia added, giving her a small smile.

“Thanks. I got it at a little boutique not too far from here, actually. They’ve had it in other colors too.” Olivia didn’t mind sharing where she got her clothes from, but she knew that some people did.

maia’s eyes were fixated on the brunette’s sweater, mainly focusing on a loose thread not too far from where her shoulder is. soon after she started to space out, but came back to earth when the girl addressed her. “sorry, it’s just uh.. you have a loose thread on your sweater, i have no idea why it’s bothering me so much.” she said, resisting the impulse to yank it out for her.

“Oh, I hate that. Where?” Olivia looked around at her sweater, unable to see any loose threads. She just bought it a few days ago, so something like this shouldn’t be happening, not that she minded much. It was just a sweater after all. “Damn, can you get it?” 

Bobbie could understand why a girl like that was pretty, she was flawless, currly hair that looked great on her, sense of style even in a uniform as if it was tailored made, a part of her admired Olivia for that but also Olivia just made her grump as a natural reaction. “To you? nope,” she said crossing her arms as she realized she was caught.

Olivia sighed in annoyance at Bobbie’s behavior not surprised by it at all, she expected something like that from Bobbie. They hadn’t talked much, as Liv was pretty good at sensing when someone didn’t like her. When she first came here it wasn’t like that, but after the whole Memphis thing happened, it became pretty obvious.  “Are you sure? Come on, spit it out.” 

“That depends on who you ask I guess. I try to live with as little regrets as possible. If I want something I go for it, even if some people don’t like that.”

Asher: Oh come on, you know that was a joke.

Asher: If we’re not friends anymore, I don’t need to pick you up right?

Olivia: i was being sarcastic, of course I knew it was a joke

Olivia: nah, you still have to come, sorry I don’t make the rules

Asher: You’re not funny, love. And who even said that we were friends?

Asher: I kid! Love you, Liv!

Asher: Seriously… Ditch it!

Asher: I don’t like uber, I’ll pick you up. 

Olivia: okay wow, that stung 

Olivia: hmmm not sure if I believe that after all the shit talking

Asher: On what part??

Asher: Ditch it! Why would you even listen to your mom? It’s boring!

Asher: Why don’t you pick me up?

Olivia: all the time. are you saying i’m not funny? ouch. and i thought we were friends... 

Olivia: 💸💸💸

Asher: Why you love joking people? lmao

Asher: Can you drop that? Enjoy high school, Liv!

Asher: We can do it tomorrow night. I need to do something. :))

Olivia: because I’m hilarious

Olivia: it wasn’t up to me, mom wanted me to take it, looks good for Yale apps

Asher: i do not. Why are you being so judgemental right now? 😂

Asher: studying? Isn’t summer already?

Asher: Yes! I’m down for a drink! When? 🍻

Olivia: I was jokinggg

Olivia: I applied for an online college course to get some extra credits

“Ah, of course, denial. Keep telling yourself that, but if you hadn’t of bumped into me you’d be on time right now,” he stated as he arrived at the door for his dorm. “Goodnight.” His hand fell upon the door handle, he pulled open the door, looking over at her. “If you decide you do want to be later for class my door is always open,” he smirked. 

“Don’t hold your breath.” Olivia shook her head with a smirk, refusing to let him win this, knowing all he was trying to do was bait her. She had important things to do and wouldn’t let him keep distracting her.
