Clariel? Is it necessary or helpful to read Clariel before goldenhand?

I’ve already ordered it but it hasn’t come in to my local bookshop yet so now I’m just looking at this beautiful book(goldenhand) that’s sitting on my shelf😭

Winter

Make a cauldron of mulled wine

Run into the ocean(I’m in Canada so brrrr)

Make one meal a week “peasant meal” only make one thing( ie. bread, whole squash, giant hunk of dried meat, big block of cheese) and eat it while sitting on the floor near the fire with a tankard of ale

Spring

Find giant willow tree in field, sit under willow tree (in dramatic period specific costume that I would rent) with a book and a bottle of wine

Wear a gown and gallop over sprawling hills on horseback(I can ride horses)

Take bike basket, find field of flowers, pick flowers out in bike basket ride around with flower bike

Summer

Cliff jump(would be first time honestly I’m scared)

Make smores with homemade marshmallows

Go camping in extremely remote area

Go back country camping

Stay out all night(not sure what I’d do id just take advantage of the fact that it would be warm at night)

Fall

Buy a plain white sheet from a thrift store and make ghost eye holes, carry it around in my bag day to day and just wear it whenever commuting

Bob for apples

Go to a corn maze and don’t get lost

Honestly the whole book just felt crazy

Anna karenina is so funny

I am having so much fun reading it I’m mentally mocking characters left and right

I can’t feel bad for anyone except levin

They’re all so silly the ways they interact with each other and think are just so ridiculous

Roll down a hill

Pick up big clumps of it

Make a grass whistle

Find a soft lush patch, take off your shoes, and just wiggle them toesies

Play leap frog

Tackle people

Play snakes(lie down and try to slither faster than each other)

Make a grass angel

Wear white and see who can get the most grass stains

Sprinkle native wild flowers

Do kart wheels

Do summersaults
