EASY ON THE EXTRAS

Hello -- I'm writing this 4 years later in the hopes that you're still there; I didn't see the message before.

Pick a vague direction that's exciting to you (nothing too specific) and learn everything you can about that direction. As you learn, your excitement will pull you closer and closer to what you're supposed to be doing. You might not find the specific thing for decades. But you'll have plenty of fun and encounter plenty of opportunities, as long as you keep learning.

I developed a love for learning much later in life. Develop it now and you'll surpass me easily. Read as much as you can, and write down your learnings. You'll start to develop your own point of view that you can share with others.

The best things you can learn are basic. Reading, writing, persuasion, public speaking (even if just to 4 people) are superpowers. The rest is details.
