the sad part of the showcase ‘93 catwoman story is that selina’s solo that started in the same year is absolutely nothing like it, in story, tone, and characterization. i’d say ‘93 sticks pretty close to a selina in the 1989 mini while selina’s 1993 run drifts from that tonally (repeatedly reconning her backstory in ways that makes it worse) and characterization wise in ways i dont care for and don’t really think is the best representation of selina
