She sings softly to herself.

Gaia was next to her in the blink of an eye, grabbing the girl’s wrist tightly, not even worrying about the marks her nails might leave in the girl’s skin. Not caring she might have Hades or Demeter at her door because of it. Her eyes were aflame with anger and she looked as if Persephone had just commited the most terrible crime one could imagine. “You Olympians think you can always do as you please, don’t you? So arrogant and no respect, no regard for boundaries and rules. You are on my domain, this is not some field you and your mother stroll in. This is my sanctuary and you shall not disturb it with your childish impulses. Nothing here needs your pity or wants it.”

“Don’t even think about it, Persephone.”  There was a sharp tone in her voice, more a threat than a warning.  She had created all of this and she like no other knew what her creations did and did not need.  It seemed that it was easy for the Olympians to forget this, as they always seemed to think they knew better than her. The young goddess was lucky that Gaia was milder towards younger deities or she would’ve been kicked out mere seconds ago. “You insult the thing by pitying it. There is nothing wrong with growing at one’s own pace with one’s own strength. That flower will get there without your help. And if it does not survie then that is merely the way of life. All living things must return to me at one point.”

Gaia had a hard time letting g of things and this included her beautiul masterpieces that had gone extinct because of the humans. She didn’t need Persephone messing up her hard work by one single touch, she would not allow it. Moreover, she would no doubt get in trouble if the girl brought out her terrible temper and got hurt in the process. Hades, Zeus, and Demeter would come furiously bursting in in no time should that happen.

Ares: Yes, and I pick all of them.
