adaptation of medea as an expat who is judged for being an immigrant despite doing everything 'right' (being highly skilled in her chosen field of work -> pharmaceutical industry?) because of the sacrifices she made to obtain her migration and position. major point of conflict is that she managed to do all this and not her brother Absyrtos, who as eldest son (though younger than her) was left behind to take care of their parents. jason as her boss (and lover?) who, despite being the one to hire her in the first place, is about to promote a nepo baby instead of her which puts her visa in jeopardy.
