a bad memory of rafe’s was the realization that he was being betrayed by nate & sam. because he’d poured decades and millions into helping them, and they threw it right back at him. he wasn’t the happiest ever.

Probably, Rafe’s worst memory is watching both of his parents die in pain from something involving their hearts. It was an eye opener for him and he sorta realized wow, that’s how he’s gonna die too. he cried for days, not just because his parents were dead and now he had this superpower of a company to run, but because he knew if he were to die naturally, it would be painful.

❝ I’d like to here your pitch again, but elaborate a little more. Will this benefit all the parties involved? All involved parties being me, you, and someone that would look into buying your idea. Obviously, people will buy anything with the Adler name on it, but I want to make sure what I’m putting out is quality, you know? Take your kid here, for example, you only want the best for it, obviously. ❞
