As the sun sets Casey leans back in the chair exhausted “I really hope Gabe gets that assistant soon so much work glad I finished” The office phone rings and Casey rolls her eyes “I spoke too soon” She takes a deep breath and answers “ Ricci and Associates how may I help you”

“You can help me by coming outside”

“Gabe? What’s going on?”

“You’ll see” He hangs up

Casey looks confused then grins and grabs her bag and heads outside where Gabe is standing next to car

“Gabe what are you doing?”

Gabe kisses her forehead “You’ll know when you follow me”

Casey giggles “You love spoiling me”

“It’s my job come on” He takes her hand and opens the car door and they get in and they drive off

They pull over to a tall building as Casey gets out the car she admires it “Gabe this building so nice”

“I’m glad you love it come on your surprise is inside”

Casey giggles as she follow him in

The receptionist gives him a keycard and they head to the private elevator stopping at the penthouse floor

Gabe unlocks the door and ushers Casey in

Casey looks around at the beautifully decorated penthouse her eyes sparkling then realization hits her she turns to face Gabe “You didn’t”

Gabe chuckles “I did we need a place when we get married”

Casey’s eyes filled with tears “Oh Gabe this is amazing” She throws her arms around him then she playfully punches his chest “Why didn’t you tell me you sneak? I could have helped with the decorating”

Gabe chuckles “Well it already came decorated but you can still give it your special touch”

“Oh I intend too”

Gabe kisses her deeply “I love you Casey”

“I love you too Gabe”

“I can’t wait till you’re my wife well you’re already my wife”

Casey giggles “And you’re already my husband”

Gabe kisses her again enjoying her in his arms

Riley smirks “Wouldn’t it be princely like to have the lady go first?”

Liam gestures for her to go “Then by all means”

 Riley lines up the shot and throws the ring right onto the center peg

 Liam smiles “Excellent aim but now it’s my turn” He tosses his ring and it lands the outside peg

“Not bad”

Liam chuckles “I’m a bit rusty but points are points your turn”

Riley takes aim and tosses it onto the outer peg she cheers “Boom! Point for Riley!”

Liam laughs “I might be nervous” He tosses the ring and it goes onto the center peg

Riley looks shocked “Oh no”

Liam chuckles “That’s more like it you think you can match that?”

Riley smiles then takes aim and it lands on the center peg she turns to Liam grinning “You mean like that?”

Liam looks shocked “Wow I’m dealing with a whole different level of player” Liam takes his shot but he misses “No that was so close”

Riley giggles “Not close enough”

“You’ve got one toss left use it well”

Riley takes a shot and hits the center peg “Bulleye or pegseye whatever it’s called!”

Liam laughs “Excellent aim” They tally up the points Liam smiles “I know when to concede to my betters well played Riley”

Riley grins “What have I won?”

Liam chuckles “Unfortunately I don’t have a prize for you”

Riley thinks for a moment then smirks “Then I suppose you’ll do I’ve always wanted my own prince”

Liam grins “I’m all yours”

“Whatever will I do with this prince I’ve won?”

“Kind things I hope”

Riley smiles “You know this has been fun but I was hoping for some time alone with you we barley had a chance to talk during the royal hunt”

Liam smiles If it was up to me I would cancel this whole social season just to be with her “I’m always hoping for time alone with you Lady Riley and there is a hedge maze behind the manor secluded quiet away from prying eyes”

Riley giggles “Another maze? Do all your homes have one?”

Liam chuckles “What can I say? My family enjoys them” He grins “Besides we had fun there last time didn’t we?”

Riley grins “I can’t argue with that”

Liam sighs “Of course we might not be able to go there the country games are coming to an end and I’m giving opening remarks at the dinner that’s to follow” He grits his teeth These damn schedules always ruining things

Riley smirks “Who’s to say the hedge maze isn’t on the way to dinner”

Liam smirks "You’re bad”

Riley smirks “I prefer efficient”

Liam chuckles as he takes her hand “Uh huh come along then” He guides her to the maze of flower covered arches. Riley’s eyes light up as she looks at the flowers

“This is beautiful Liam”

“It is I love it here” Liam then stretches grinning “That’s better somehow when I’m alone with you I feel so much like myself” He smirks picking her up and spinning her around as she giggles

“Liam! What are you doing?”

Liam gently sets her down his arms still on her waist “Being my best self”

Riley grins “You’re happy today”

“I’m always happy when I’m with you Lady Riley and what about yourself do you enjoy the time we spend together?”

Riley smiles “I enjoy it very much”

Liam grins “Good”

“I think this means we should stay together forever and make each other very happy”

Liam smiles “Not a bad idea”

“Did you have a master plan to woo me here?”

“I thought we take a stroll get lost in the maze and never find our way out”

Riley grins “Ah so this is all a plan to spend an eternity with me”

Liam chuckles “Precisely”

“I can’t say that I mind”

Liam cups her cheek “You’re too good to me” Liam stares at her intensely God she’s so amazing what I wouldn’t give to have her all to myself

Riley’s voice breaks his trance “Hey Liam”

“Hey Riley”

She points to the large swing in the middle “Would you push me on the swing?”

Liam grins “My pleasure”

Riley walks and sits on the swing and Liam pushes her gently

“The country manor always has a special place in my heart my brother and I used to come here after as children the rules were a bit more relaxed here”

“So you mean you only has formal dinners every other night”

Liam chuckles “Heh pretty much pretty much my brother and I were allowed to wear plain clothes and run rampant in the hillside someday I hope you will meet my brother. What were you like as a child?”

Riley grins “Oh I was always adventurous and I wasn’t afraid to stand up to bullies got into a few fights but worth it”

Liam chuckles “Then nothing’s changed you’re the most adventurous person I know” Liam then stops the swing and wraps his arms around her waist leaning over her and staring at her intensely “It’s what I like best about you”

Riley giggles “Don’t stop I was having fun swinging”

“It’s doesn’t feel right pushing you away from me”

“I come back that’s the point of a swing”

Liam chuckles “You’ll have to wait I don’t want to let go of you right now” He tightens his hold on her waist I can’t let this moment pass

Riley grins then turns in swing to face him and kisses him deeply

Liam holds her tightly as he kisses her God I love her lips on mine so soft so amazing He pulls back laughing

Riley grins raising an eyebrow “What are you laughing about?”

“I’m just so happy”

“You do seem different today lighter more carefree and you don’t usually spending eternity with me or even what’ll happen after the social season” She sighs “You know just in case the person you choose won’t be well me”

Liam looks at her with regret in his eyes How I wish I could tell her how I feel about her oh Riley you don’t know how much I’m in love with you Liam nods “I know it’s just I’ve been thinking a lot about decision and…” Liam trails off Can’t tell her yet

Riley grins “And?”

Liam chuckles “I shouldn’t say anything official yet Not until I have the approval of my parents and the court” He sighs “Which wont be for a few days” He smiles “But I want you to know I can’t wait for the Coronation”

Riley looks at him hopefully “I can’t wait either”

They turn at the sound of bells and chimes ringing

Liam turns to her “And that would be the official signal to end the games and assemble for dinner”

Riley grins “Will you think of me?”

Liam grins “Of course you’re never to far from my mind” Liam offers his arm “Allow me to be your escort”

Riley giggles “More like my guide I don’t know my way out of here”

Liam chuckles “I’ll lead us out slowly”

“There’s nothing wrong with being fashionably late”

Liam chuckles as they walk out the maze he smiles Yes coronation is the best time to tell her my feelings then I can announce that I choose her as my queen

“Not so fast.”

She stopped.

Slowly she turned.

Becca and Kaitlyn stood there blocking her path like they had planned it.

Brie narrowed her eyes “What did you do?”

Kaitlyn gasped dramatically “Why do you automatically assume we did something?”

“Because you’re both smiling like that” Brie says crossing her arms.

Becca’s smirk widened “Wow you know us so well”

Brie’s gaze sharpened “Becca”

“Relax” Becca said waving her off “It’s not that serious”

“That’s exactly what people say when it is that serious,” Brie shot back.

Kaitlyn stepped forward practically vibrating with excitement. “Okay just hear us out before you say no”

“I already know I’m saying no,” Brie said immediately.

Becca ignored that completely “We set you up on a blind date”

Brie looked at them then she shook her head gathering her things “Absolutely not”

Kaitlyn pouted instantly “You didn’t even hear the details!”

“I don’t need the details” Brie said already stepping around them. “The answer is no”

Becca moved just as quickly blocking her again determined “Brie”

“Becca”

“You can’t keep doing this” Becca said sighing

“Doing what?” Brie asks

“Shutting yourself off” Kaitlyn added softly her excitement dimming into something more genuine. “You work, you take care of the kids, you come home… and that’s it.”

“That is my life,” Brie replied

“And it’s not enough” Becca said

 “It’s more than enough”

Kaitlyn stepped closer “We’re not saying you need someone we’re just saying you deserve the chance to have something more if you want it”

“I don’t,” Brie said immediately

Becca tilted her head studying her. “Or you’re just afraid to.”

That hit.

Brie’s jaw tightened her gaze hardening. “I’m not afraid of anything”

Becca didn’t back down “Then prove it”

The words hung in the air.

Brie exhaled sharply running a hand through her hair as she turned away slightly, frustration building. “This is ridiculous” she muttered.

Kaitlyn reached for her arm lightly “Just one date” she said softly. “That’s it If you hate it we’ll never bring it up again”

Brie let out a disbelieving laugh. “You expect me to believe that?”

Becca shrugged “Okay maybe we’ll bring it up a little. But still just one”

Brie hesitated.

And that alone was enough for both of them to see the crack.

Beeca’s smirks “There it is.”

Brie shot her a glare. “Don’t”

“Don’t what? Notice that you didn’t say no again?” Becca teased

Brie groaned under her breath irritated “You two are unbelievable”

Kaitlyn smiled sweetly “We know”

Brie looks at them then sighs “Fine”

Both of them high five excited as Brie rolls her eyes

After leaving the office Brie heads to her penthouse apartment greeting the security guard who give her the keycard and she enters the private elevator and heads to her floor. As the elevator doors open and she unlocks the door entering the penthouse.

“Mommy!” Hope runs up to her and hugs her legs

Brie smiles and bends down to hug her “Hey cutie how was school”

Hope’s eyes light up “School is fun lots of toys and I made friends”

Brie grins “See I knew you could” Her eyes dart to Adam playing with blocks he looks up and grins as he drools happily

Brie giggles as she picks him up and kisses his forehead “How’s my cute little troublemaker”

Adam babbles as Bries giggles

A voice comes from behind here

“Welcome back Brie”

Brie turns and sees her aunt Lillian Bradford coming from the hallway. Lillian had raised her since she was 6 becoming the mother she needed

“You picked them up?”

“Yes that’s my job”

“You could have told me I would have gone over there not knowing”

Lillian giggles “Well now you know”

Brie rolls her eyes then looks at Lillian “And you know about the date right I pretty sure you organized it that’s why you picked them up”

Lillian smirks “I have know idea what you’re talking about but since you have a date we should get you ready come let’s see what to wear!”

Brie giggles as she follows Lillian to the closet with Hope following

Lillian spends the next hour doing her hair and make up before picking out a silver shimmering dress. Brie puts it on before looking in the mirror and sighing

“You pretty mommy!”

Brie smiles “Thanks baby” Then she turns to Lillian “Ok let’s get this date over with”

“Fix the attitude first”

Brie groans “But I don’t wanna do this”

“We all have things we don’t wanna do now get out there”

Brie sighs “Ok I’ll be home later”

The bar was dimly lit the low hum of conversation and soft music. Brie stepped inside her heels clicking softly against the floor as she scanned the room.

She made her way to the bar “Whiskey” she said simply when the bartender approached.

As she waited, her gaze drifted around the room then she went on her phone. She checked the time once. Then again.

Five minutes.

Ten.

Fifteen.

Then 2 hours passed

Brie grumbles “I knew this was stupid just wasted minutes of my life”

Brie starts to leave but she’s stopped when a guy approaches her clearly drunk he grins “Hey there pretty lady”

Brie sighs and tries to step around him he blocks the way “What’s the rush we’re getting to know each other”

“Move not interested”

“Oh don’t be like that”

“Hey” Brie and the drunk guy turn and see a guy with brown hair staring him down with his arms crossed “Lady said she’s not interested”

The guys scoffs “Why don’t you mind your business pal”

The guy steps closer “I’m making it my business you’re bothering her walk away now”

The guy grumbles before stumbling off

Brie sighs looking at the guy “Thank you”

“It’s no problem you alright?”

“I’m fine I was this close to knocking his ass out”

The guy chuckles “I would love to see that”

Brie giggles then pauses and offers her hand “I’m Brie”

The guy shakes it “Chris you looked like you were waiting for someone”

“Oh my friends and aunt set me up on a blind date the guy didn’t show up waste of time”

“Then he’s an idiot”

“Sure is” There’s a moment of silence then Brie sighs “I should go”

“Yeah of course I’m sure you wanna get out of here after that”

Brie nods then smiles “It was nice meeting you Chris”

“You too Brie have a good night”

Brie waves and heads out the door

Chris watches her go and he smiles Damn that girl is beautiful wish I got her number

Liam sighs “No Bastien is still looking”

“She’s just hiding doesn’t want to be found I hate that about her”

Liam take her hand “Hey it’s ok we’re gonna get through this and then we’ll get married just as planned”

Riley smiles “I love you Liam I’m glad you’re my rock throughout this”

Liam smiles and kisses her deeply “I love you too” He whispers “You’re everything to me Riley” He trails kisses down her neck before carrying her “Let me show you how much I love you”

He carried her to the bedroom and sets her down as he kisses her deeply. He pulls her closer and walks her back to the bed undressing her

“I’ll never get tired of this view your beauty is breathtaking” Liam gently puts her on the bed his hands moving slowly up her body

Riley pouts “Liam stop teasing”

Liam chuckles then smirks “But you love it I love how your body reacts”

Liam undresses himself and climbs on top of her covering her neck in kisses Riley moans as his hand go lower

“Mmm Liam”

“How may I please you my love?” Riley guides his head to her breast and Liam sucks on them eagerly as Riley arches into him

“I want my dessert” Liam spreads her legs open plunges his tongue inside

“Oh God Liam!”

“I love hearing you scream my name” Liam kisses her as he strokes himself “Ready to come Riley?”

Riley gets on her knees as Liam teases her making her pout

Liam chuckles “Patience love” He kisses down her back  pulling her closer then he plunges inside her making her cry out

“No” Liam growls in her ear “You will take it” He slaps her ass

Liam thrusts slowly then goes faster as Riley’s screams get louder

They both collapse on the bed breathing heavily Liam grins as he wraps his arms around her kissing her forehead

Riley giggles “You always make me forget my troubles”

“That’s my job as your future husband love”

Liam brushes her hair out her face “I love you too Riley so much you’re my world” Liam kisses her softly

A man pushes out a woman out the bar “And don’t come back you damn alcoholic!”

The woman spits on him “Whatever I can find another place for my booze!”

The woman stumbles around and ends up at a cheap motel she collapses on the bed “Ugh if that damn girl never ran away this wouldn’t be happening I’ll show her what happens when she disobeys her mother”
