I've split them based on word count: approximately 31k over the first three days, then the longest oneshot that's over 16k on its own, then approximately 31k over the final three days.

Hey, guys! I really hate doing this because October is my favorite month for writing fic, but I sooooo close to burnout, I'm practically on fire.
So from OCT 5TH-NOV 1ST, 2025 I will be stopping all posts.
I sat there staring at the final 13 asks for WIP Wednesday on Saturday, begging and pleading with myself to just write it and get it over with.
Like in all the three years of writing for Steddie I have NEVER felt like that. Sure there were times where writing slowed down, but never to the point I couldn't physically write.
And it really hit me last weekend. I love writing. I love writing Steddie. Especially the fics I'm currently working on. I'm so close to finishing three of them I can taste it. "The London Job", "Murder in the Heartland", and "Heartbreak in Overdrive".
Also with things petering out on both my stories and my discord (interaction being way down because people are super busy. I'm a SaHM, I have roughly 30 hours a week I can do whatever I want while my kid is in school) I'm just feeling worn down.
I love and appreciate everyone who sends me asks on WIP Wednesday, who like, comment, and reblog my stories, who send me such lovely messages of encouragement either as comments, DMs, or other asks. I write for you guys.
But I just need to take a step back and focus on me.
Last time I continued to put out a completed work on Sundays just to get it out to you. But I'm not sure if I can do that this time. Which sucks. Because I was really hoping to get it out before season five premiered. I still have 7 chapters of Dragon Slayer to put out. And if I continue to post it through my hiatus it would be completed the week before season five airs.
Let me know what you think I should do, If should continue to post Dragon Slayer throughout the month of October or leave it and maybe post on Saturdays to help speed up its release.
As for WIP Wednesday during the hiatus, it will be every other week. Because you guys made it so popular, I got 80 asks total from several different people and that's a lot! I'm not even sure other popular writers who do WIP Wednesday are as prolific as you guys make me. And I love that.
So this is how it's going to go: On the 8th and 22nd, you will have a full 24 hours to send in asks. Yup! A full 24 hours. Then I will take the next two weeks to answer everything you send me. And then do it again on 22nd.
If this works out well, I might keep it like that and call WIP Week instead.
