Casting for Jeff Pierre

Tiana, your prince has come.

ABC’s Once Upon a Time has cast Jeff Pierre of Freeform’s Beyond in the recurring role of Prince Naveen, TVLine has learned. He will first appear in Episode 12, titled “A Taste of the Heights” and airing Friday, March 9.

Naveen is described as a “fun-loving, freewheeling adventurer who cares little about the dangers of the world. At least, that’s how it appears. In truth, his easy exterior hides a heart struggling with a tragic past — one that he is determined to make amends for, even if it means sacrificing everything he loves in the process….” [Cue ominous ellipse.]

Sigh. I was gonna try not to do this, but… has anyone stopped to consider that maybe at this point Gallavich don’t get a happy ending in large part because of the behavior of the most visible fans on social media?

Crazy children have chased Cam off publicly posting with their ridiculous, pedantic, shitty attitudes, and just because Noel is maybe nicer about it, doesn’t mean those same (or similar) people have never freaked him out too.

Not to mention the harassment of all the other Shameless actors and writers who publicly engage, and how much that has soured them all on this fandom in particular, due to the outrage over Noel leaving. This isn’t a post about how fucking terribly they treated Mickey. That’s beside the point right now. 

These people have been making everyone look bad for a long time now and it’s only gotten worse and worse, so… if you think that hasn’t affected what we’ve seen at the very least in season 7 and will likely see in the future, then think a-fucking-gain. 

This fandom sabotages itself on top of everything else!
