Hey a dear friend of mine and neighbor is facing eviction due to racial discrimination and as requested by her family I made a a mutual aid campaign for her!! She needs $2500 as a starter point to get a retainer for a housing lawyer and housing stability if she is displaced! racist neighbors have been aggressive with harassment and assaults... and im worried about her safety..!!This will be my pinned till full her goal is met! She still is at 240/2500 her next court date for continuation is July 20th and she is still dealing with harassment by anti-black neighbors and it's really affecting her i feel we can make her goal . More updates but she paid for her storage fee and both her motion for emergency stay was denied by the judge... So she doesn't have enough for when a week for a motel. She's at 865/6k right now but we are trying to raise enough to wear she can stay for a month at least to get on a wait-list for housing!! As she has literally no where to go!!
This is time sensitive as she to be out on this Sunday August 2nd! We have gotten lots reshares but we need more donations!
She is calling up anyone she knows or she will literally be in the streets so I'm trying to find her some type of emergency housing asap quickly.

Another update!! We still need actually donations RN as she still needs a place to stay! She staying with a friend for a couple days but after that she has no where else to go... She found a room to rent at the moment but it wont be available till the August 16th and so she needs 2 weeks to find a place to be housed. We were able to get her a motel for one night and she's pay for her storage fees. But she is on ssdi (this is monthly check) and she is still legal process to get another appeal for procedural systematic errors to get this behavioral eviction of her record.. this is very time sensitive!!
The updated fund is for any legal fees, storage fees(to keep her stuff in storage) , necessities and rent for the room! Nearly her whole check went for the deposit and rent for the room. She was already denied 3 places to get her own apartment.. so she's really trying to not be blacklisted to get a place... She's also in the process to try to get a hotel voucher so she not in the streets for 2 weeks. But that takes time. The state we are in doesn't have state rental assistance no longer and as well for housing vouchers... Emergency housing vouchers have been cut so this is pretty highly effective on her situation. She still on the wait list for housing but like I said it takes time even if she is a priority...
