the attachments mincecraft creators have to their rp characters is really fucking unhealthy, immature and would make people less likely to hire you in professional acting spaces but that opinion wont be commonplace until like 2036 so im gonna get crucified

telling actors, artists, art creators in professional spaces how their characters will be used by the public is commonplace for a good reason, "rule 34" exists for a reason, most humans inherently have romantic and sexual desires and a wish to express them in fiction. being uncomfortable with this is immature, not to mention actively being public with that distaste. roleplay characters are just that, characters. i am of course annoyed but im surprising even myself at how overshadowed that is by genuine concern for creators mental health and well being, this way of thinking isn't healthy at all and im fed up of it being normalized. you cannot go into an acting/character-playing career and be genuinely upset when character interpretations turn romantic, you're going to mess yourself up health wise, this isn't normal

crack dsmp modern au where c!Wilbur is that one weird facebook parent that you're distantly related to who insists on living on a homestead in the middle of nowhere, homeschooling with the bible as a curriculum, and not vaccinating his children, who he HAS taught to use guns because the end of the world is definitely going to be tomorrow and everyone else is going to hell

The only reason anyone finds out about this is because 1. c!Wilbur's facebook, and 2. c!Sapnap is a camp counselor at whatever random christian summercamp c!Wilbur is sending his kids to (c!Bad, c!Ant, c!Skeppy + c!Bad's kid c!Sapnap are all in like one of those hip progressive churches where they believe in evolution and vaccines and not living in the woods hiding from society)

c!Wilbur tries to get c!Techno in on this and he thinks it's stupid and leaves immediately.

"Exile" in this AU isn't even bad, it's just c!Dream managing to get c!Wilbur's most abused kid away from him for like a month but c!Tommy is a wildly unreliable narrator who thinks being separated from the cult is the worst torture he's ever endured in his life.

c!Tommy hates that c!Dream has given him food and shelter and lets him go outside instead of constantly telling him the outside world is dangerous and sinful and out to get him, so he decides to become c!Techno's problem instead.

c!Ranboo also eventually got "rescued" (arrested for shoplifting) by c!Sam, and it sucked bc c!Sam is a cop. c!Techza had to bail them out of jail after forging paperwork alleging c!Ranboo is somehow related to one of them 😭

This was about the point where Sapnap went to tell Bad about the way all of Wilbur's kids were acting 😭

the moment Bad found out about this was the first time Sapnap ever heard his father take the lord's name in vain
