Chapter Two. Introduction II
My father said that a man always has to do, what he has to, to survive, especially survive for his family.
I woke up from a terror, A nightmare from that night.
I still never remember how I made it out of that fight. But when Shiro woke up, the first thing he did was swear he would see him again.
Shiro had lost everything. His mother was dead. His brothers and sisters were dead. He had nothing left. Nothing but the misery of being alone, and the pressure to fix what was wrong, along with the night terrors.
He would flashback to trying to carry his brother out of the fire, but burning them both. Struggling to carry him but forced to patiently get through the fire.
His brother died in his arms halfway there.
It was a new day, and Shiro hadnât stopped at any of the villages he had seen, not even to eat. At this point Shiro could run up to forty or fifty miles per hours.
He was pretty quick but still he only had passed three or four villages, and no Surewea. When he finally stops from the unbearable hunger pains, he finds himself in the hidden village of Daikendend. A bigger village than his own, but not the biggest village Shiro had seen. (Even though it was.)
In Daikendend village they held a parade every year to celebrate the pride of the village, teaching the kids about the background of the village.
Their was many people, merchant sellers, villagers, and people telling the story of Daikendend for spare change.
So Shiro sat quietly as intrigued as can be by the history of the village, and when the parade came at night fall, the whole village flooded down the streets, filling the night sky with their Saturn orange lanterns. A million of hem in the sky. The vision of this purely made Shiro feel so much better, as he s,lied up at the night sky.
The parade had a elegant purple and blue lead everything blending into a sunset of a horizon still being painted orange by the lanterns, then a beautiful scarlet red lead the way for the beautiful dancers matching in red clothing, and women of the bath houses also were apart of the parade, Shiro smiled to himself thinking about getting the chance to meet ONE of the beautiful clan whores.
As the parade continued he ended up trailing along a amazingly beautiful cart that had a banner that read âYou are not alone In a beautiful blue lettering, on black background. The held their lights and lit up the entire scene, as it glowed a haze of white and blue the white and blue cart, trailed forward, Shiro followed the cart slowly but surely as he started to drown in the sea of people. Was the cart going to get away?
A little panic rushed over Shiro, he had never had anything, was he going to loose this too? People that clearly stood taller than the sixteen year old, blocked the way as many people stood not really paying attention to the lost child all alone.
They stood there laughing and cheering, as the carts made their way and Shiroâs vision on the cart was going on and out, as he clearly was loosing sight of the beautiful glowing cart.
âYOU CAN START ALL OVER IF YOU WANT TO!â Someone called, âWHENEVER YOU WANT TO..!â
Shiro let out a deep sigh as he looked back for a moment to see what he heard.
There were a ton of people and Shiro really did feel lost. He turns around and the cart is gone.
In the world of the ninja realm, in the realm of the demon realm, power moves were are what keep you alive. Everyone has at least two, and a person with only one? Was probably more deadly than the person with several.
A long look back at the history of the shinobi that trained in the way of the killer, vs the ninja that trained the way of the path.
All ninja, rouge and the trained men that called themselves shinobi all of them collected their special abilities in honor, where there was no honor in the game of kill or be killed they respected those who trained after them, it made them legends, and the more people that followed? Made you infamous.
IN THE EARLY 1700s, ninja, and shinobi all trained relentlessly to become powerful, in war they pledged their Loyalty to the kill, and without hesitation they would do it, it wasnât until the leader Katama Hitakate, that ninja and shinobi swore their allegiance against he demon, he was the first shinobi gone rouge to become a half demon in a era when it became very popular. He was very powerful and very unnoticed until the village Hiragana asked for his loyalty and slaughter his village, many blamed Katama for the fall of his village and most of the survivors didnât truly feel that way so they pledged their loyalty to him and he protected them.
After years of trying to start over in the demon realm, a great demon named Jira was released into the human realm, and Katama was the only one who could protect the village.
At war he battled hard killing thousands of demons that stood in his way. But he only fell to his knees after fighting off a thousand demons at once, unable to stop the rule of Jira the demon.
It wasnât until he 1800s that warriors like Kira, Tarsus, and Omi, lived in the era of the rouge shinobi. Each one challenged and pushed the boundaries of the human ninja everyday, unknowingly their power would be used against them later on after their death.
The tinkaiketsu, a powerful physical attack that strength to the chi of the user,
It started of with a significant thirteen that knew the attack. They were all from a clan of physical killers, now learning peace in the path of the shinobi. Brothers, the thirteen knew that they would play a big part in each others lives but not only that, they would play a big part in history. After growing older they each grew their own families, started their own clans, and after banning together to financially save their village, they joined together to teach the next generation the shinobi way.
You see in this time shinobi generations would only come around every third generation, if the village was successful then they would raise ninja every seventh generation. But after the oldest dies, they see it a a opportunity to spread, but after months had passed they disagreed about the village and seperated to fulfill their own village and the goals they saw fit for a new generation.
Many young adults wanted to learn the Tenkaiketsu but unknowingly each of the twelve knew they would save the power move to teach it to someone special.
Many of the ones that learned the moves in the decades that passed were very memorable warriors.
One that went down in history was Kira, who learned the tenkaiketsu at Sixteen, he was a legendary warrior, who protected the world from the demon Shiramatsu and the greatest demon of their time, Makia The king of demons.
Kira was a great legendary ninja, and many ninja and shinobi knew his famous move, the Hiketen Thunder strike. It was a fury of lightning striking the opponent in a blast of electricity as energy. As the move spread around the harder it became to learn it, and the move challenged your body, as well as your Chi.
This move wasnât just another power move but it was the strength that Kira harnessed. As he trained this move, and continues to train it, far after he learned it. He built up his body as well as his strength along the lines of practicing the mere movement of the skill it took could kill any obvious opponent, let alone the sheer strike of the pressure of the thunderous strike.
Soon Kira learned to use it with both hands in a fury of fast punches, if he landed one touch he could kill you.
And then there was Ekeil who trained the fastest in his generation, he could learn a power move in a matter of weeks and learned from every ,master in the dojo, some teachers even became jealous of him slandering his name for filth because he ok advantage of the teachers to become powerful.
Light on his feet, and the quickest in his class, Ekeil knew most of he moves in his time by his he time h graduated after 9 years of training.
He explored his options in work and was even offered a special spot on the task force, that initially worked for the government, but when he turned it down all his teachers worried that, he was going to begin to make bad choices, in his new found power.
He eventually choose to be a freelance shinobi working for money to help the poor. He did that for many years and trained up others to be in his likeness. He soon retired to his own temple he raised himself, teaching the youth everything they needed to know if they werenât apart of the generation of raised shinobi.
He was the greatest shinobi of the time, just like Kira.
After a dark age of the rule of Jira, man fell away, and there was nothing but demon to high rule the land. In which the demon Jira ruled over all, until Katama went to war for what he loved.
In the red Forrest, also known as the blood forrest of the west, everyone knew that it let out into the cliffs, also known as the heights, Katama fought his way through to the far side of the heights, battling many teams of demons, fighting them off in waves, but no one could stop him, or match his speed. When he faced Jira, he stood in front of a thousand more demons, Katama who was determined to kill Jira with his bare hands swore âIâll kill you myself with this one move. The Tenkaiketsu.â
He savagely murdered through the demon, in which Jira saw his opponents power for the first time. And when Katama got close enough to make eye contact with Jira, he is held back, by far too many demons to get any closer.
Jira simply responds at this with, âYou simple half demon, the Tenkaiketsu will never touch me.â And quickly before anything else could happen, he was grabbed furiously but a huge number of demon, and decapitated.
Shiro found himself being lost after the parade late that night. It was almost morning but still Shiro had nowhere to go for four hours, until sunrise. He ended up wandering around and found himself in front of the BathHouse, he looks up at the golden painted sign hung widely far above his head and the threshold of the door, that read âJerichoâs BathHouse!â
As interesting as that was, though Shiro had no motivation or interests to sneak into the bathhouse to see what was outside. He sighs and rolls his eyes. And then immediately after that three busy looking business men walk out of the giant golden threshold door. Shiro barely looks up as the doors are closing shortly behind them, and all he could see was business men dressed up in suits sitting at tables laughing and drinking alcohol, to the far opposite side, as Shiro made his way through the crowd unsure of why he would bother, but then he saw her. A girl standing at stand, leaning on her right arm, as if she was bored of all the people, her jet black had been braided up into two Chinese buns, and she wore a soft pink kimono, with a golden ribbon around her waist, tied around her to make a giant bow on her back.
The gold shimmered in the red of the interior of the bathhouse, and glimmered in the lights. She was beautiful, and her hair had been done so perfectly it was equally as beautiful, and as she caught Shiroâs eye, she had no clue. Now? Shiro would sneak into the bathhouse, to see the girl his age, and find out why she was there.
It didnât take long for Shiroâs decision to sneak in, and only came up with how, three seconds later.
Before he knew it, he was inside to realize the building that was so admirable on the outside was far more beautiful than the inside. And their was more than even more than three floors.
So Shiro runs off to find the girl, and not run into anybody important, and he could save the girl, be her hero, Shiro thought to himself, I could be her
As Shiro pushed forward and made it to an empty desk like stand,he wasnât disappointed, he wouldnât give up so easy.
He soon found out that the âHostessâ were the ones to help the men find their seats. And so Shiro concluded she was gone showing a man where he can sit.
So Shiro hid tucked quietly under the desk when he finally saw she was coming back. He never realized until he saw her that he was holding his breath the entire time while waiting.
When she returned to the standing spot Shiro was almost hesitant to pop out. But without more than a second of reassurance he does so, and when the girl doesnât see, a bit surprised at the kid standing there Shiro begins to talk to her.
âHi, Iâm⊠umm lost, and I think only you can help me.â He tells. âMy name is Shiro, and I think I need your help.â
The girl blinks at Shiro introducing herself as Testumi, and not really knowing what else to say, she agrees reluctantly and leads Shiro through the dining room where beautiful women busily rushed through to maintain the crowd.
âIâm Shiro!â Shiro called trailing behind the girl with long jet black hair. She tugged him along as they weaved through the crowd as they headed towards the back of the bathhouse.
âIâm Tetsumi.â She answered firmly. She was struggling to be heard over the loud music, a group of tall women danced by idly, as they smiled and laughed not even noticing Tesumi and what she was doing. A light scent of old lady perfume caught the air gently under Shiroâs nose. They danced between the floral almost clear kimonos as they fluttered in the wind, passing by.
Tetsumi looked back impatiently every once in a while, sighing Shiro could tell she was a rolling her eyes at him, she was pretty quick, and Iâm supposed to be the demon, Shiro scoffed to himselfStill trying to keep up.
Then suddenly Testumi stops at big red and gold door. She quickly turns with her back leaning gently touching the door, âFirst. You canât tell anybody what you see. Second. None of it is real. Third. A human boy like you should never talk to a real demon.âshe demands. Shiro agrees and Tetsumi opens the door behind her, letting out a sharp demon grin. She knew something Shiro did not. She grabs his hand again and they are trailing through the exit of the bathhouse. Shiro thinking âHEY!? But I AM A DEMON!?â
âThe Raven kingdom has stood tall over this decade, in the smallness of a life time they have idle stood by as the rule of such pitiful demon have come and gone. But I am the realest and ruler of the darkness, and now I say is the time to rise and destroy every kingdom that stands in our way as we destroy the Raven Kingdom.â
The shadow covered figure gestures to his right hand at the use of the dark mysterious land, there stood some of the greatest legends of our time. Standing in front of the villainous stance of a master demon.
âMaster has a plan to destroy the Raven Kingdom, and it will take all of you to do it, but whether you agree or if you will stand against us, you will receive this one message from Master Ken.
Iâm on will have a choice to defend your village and protect your lives, or die at the hand of master Ken himself.â
There was silence, hen one of them answered. â
It is true that the tyranny of the demon world has been ruling over us, and in return we have been living to smile out of fear, we have been fearful of death, which is no way to live, and as much as⊠people like you make me sick. It is true, it is an offer I cannot turndown, I donât think anyone here can deny it.
But if we do what you say you mugshot promise the safety of every village or we will
We hold the elitist demon shinobi in the world-â
âNo I hold the elitist demon shinobi in the world. You.â Ken interrupts.
There was a moment of silence.
âWe will do what you say.â Someone else calls out. Their eyes all fall to their feet.
âYou have done the right thing..â Ken answers.
And the scene cuts away the the outskirts of the Forrest. Just outside of the suicide Forrest something was happening. A rouge ninja team is being attacked, after spying on hat was happening, and they all were surrounded, one by one the died that day, never reporting to the chaos that was to begin. But somewhere he story had furthered and Shiro is now almost sixteen. So after a year of returning to the same bathhouse Shiro would sneak away during the day, after promising to Testumi he wouldnât bother her during the day. To see how far he could go. Reaching the outskirts only after his third day of traveling back and forth he wouldnât tell anyone what he saw, well if he saw anything.
On the fifth day Shiro made plans to travel and how to travel and find the lost city of Surawea. We wrote it on a map he found, he would first travel straight ahead until he found something. He was almost sure to find a path the ninja had made. Or at least find a place where they could rest in the far distance.
If he traveled out that far and in this amount of time, he could find something, and if he didnât then he would travel west next.the Forrest was all of the surrounding western and eastern area, but it was close to the outskirts of the Forrest so he knew the trees couldnât last forever.
So he followed the plan in in one day did not feel satisfied to give up traveling north, he didnât even feel satisfied how far he got. So hat night exhausted and hungry he met with Tetsumi and they talked about everything under the moon. He even realized he was starting to like her a lot. And all he needed in the world was a girl.
That night before the sun began to rise he was following Tetsumi home like he always does, and he learned something about her. She wasnât scared of the darkness. Even though the village had seen so much torn away from them, she learned from it. And it inspired Shiro to do the same.
The mission grew harder and harder to Ali about the raveling though the day and never telling anybody what he was up too. But then again why should he? Shiro no longer had family. Why should he respect that?
Shiro grew weary from exploring forward and found nothing but what he called the bitter lands. The valley of the canyon Nazareth and the paths that lead up to them, Shiro remembers learning about them during school.
There was three great wars that happened in the eight paths that took place and all of the lead to the death of a village and a single native carrying the way for a new beginning.
He eight paths now represent the seven realms of heaven leading to the deadly valleys and canyons that narrowly no one survived. Shinobi often traveled across to find pay these days they prefer to live on the opposite side.
Shiro remembers learning so much about the paths and wondered which one would lead him to a God that would selfishly expect for a flower to bloom out in the ashes after a fire had spread.
One day Shiro promised himself would find out.
On his way home he found something. But not just something it was exactly what he was looking for, the first path.
Shiro wakes he next morning to voices coming from outside his tent.
âWell he has to be around here somewhere!â one of them argued.
ââŠumm.â He other voice replied.
It was two boys that sounded as if they were just older than Shiro, as Shiro was thinking this one of the boys interrupted âWe have to hurry! Riken said THIS village, somewhere and we have to hurry his lifeâŠis in danger.â
All of a sudden the name clicks in Shiroâs head. He rushes to get dressed as the voice grew further away. âWAIT!!â Shiro calls at the two boys.
They stopped where they were and slowly turned around.
He had to go back, to save the human that saved him first.
IâM PROUD OF THIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ITS SO IMPORTANT IN MY THOUGHT PROCESS. BUT I HAVE TO KILL ALL THAT OFF FOR SOMETHING BETTER.đ I HAVE GROWN UP WATCHING ANIME AND I ONLY HOPE I DOA GOOD JOB ON THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.
AND ALSO THIS POWER MOVE JUST TO BECOME THAT POWER MOVE. THREEPEOPLE WILL KNOW IT.
AND ALSO DECIDED TO CHANGE DIRECTIONS A LITLE BIT, HOPING YOU LIKE IT!
AND I IWAS TOLD BY SOMEONE MAKING UP A LOT OF LANGUAGE IS A GOOD SIGN IN A ANIME. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
IâM HOPING YOU CAN PICTURE THE WAR WHEN KATAMA FACES JIRA, BUT I ALWAYS FEEL LIKE I DIDNT ADD ENOUGH DETAILS.
