Kaoru laughed as the male swiftly buried his face, failing to make himself scarce in the room. “Well, fine then,” she laughed in amusement. He was so cute when he got flustered like that–it was almost endearing to her. Pulling her t-shirt off, she dropped it to the floor before pulling a shirt off of a hanger in her closet, interrupted as she caught view of lilac optics in the mirror. A smile, Cheshire-like in nature, spread across her lips as she hugged her shirt to her chest. “Whatcha lookin’ at, Kazuhiro-kun?” her voice crooned, turning her head to look at him.

A playful wink ensued as she gave way to a coy pose. “No point in hiding your face if you’re gonna look anyway, Ka-zu-kun!” she teased him, a chuckle escaping her and she pulled her shirt on first, and then a pair of shorts. Climbing back onto the bed, she offered an inviting smile as she tugged the blanket away from him, her other hand gently resting on his cheek. Leaning in, she pressed a kiss to his nose and laughed. “I’m just being a bully.”

She was always such a tease, bringing him into a blushing mess whenever she had the chance. He grabbed her by the waist through the blanket she had just snatched out of his grasp. Twisting himself around, he swung her off her feet to plop her right back onto her bed with his body soon following through with the motion. Laying on top of the blanket, he trapped her underneath giving her a pouty face.

Heaving his shoulders through the door way as he placed the last of the boxes in the open room of what will be the new living room. The place was spacious with great lighting coming in through the windows. The apartment itself was small but it was plenty of room for Kazuhiro and his newly betrothed. It was his first official home outside of his parents’ and university. After taking in a deep breathe and exhaling loudly, he swung his body around searching for his beloved with a grin forming across his face as his eyes searched through the sea of boxes.

“Oi, you damn titan!! How bout paying attention and moving forward, jackass!!”

Occupying their minds sounded like a good idea, and Kaoru wholeheartedly agreed. “Y-yeah, that’d be a good idea.” Swiveling her head around, with her twin tails swishing through the air, she sought out the roller coasters in the area. Nearby stood the line to a particularly large ride, and with little thought she began walking in the general direction, giving a gentle squeeze of the hand. She hoped that he was fine with large roller coasters. She loved thrill rides, and would feel awful if he was scared out of his mind (what with the incident at the haunted house). 

“Have you…ridden roller coasters before?”

“Yeah roller coasters are great! I use to be terrified as a kid until I finally rode one.” Memories soon flooded his mind of his desperate endeavors of avoiding roller coasters with Daisuke and Ran up until his mid years of middle school. The thrill, the rushing air across his face, and the echoing screams, remembering it all drew out excitement after being able to go again after so long. As his face began to light up, he gently squeezed her hand rushing alongside her towards the line. 

“It was totally cramped!” Despite how awful the memory was, she showed a look of excitement as two energetic fists clenched up. It was because she was the one that forced everyone into the booth. “It took a few dislocated kneecaps and back-breaking flexibility, but we all managed to get in!” She probably sounded evil, now that she’d gone and said it, but the mention of it was bound to be funnier than the memory actually was. Taking Kazuhiro’s hand, she pulled herself up from the bench and began to follow him, grinning up at him. “Let’s go, then!”

“Wouldn’t it be better if you stayed at Hirai-san’s place? I bet she could hire some big and scary guards to man the house!”
