That last chapter was crazy. Wow, I am speechless.

Sad to see this fic end but Imma be working on my spin-off/au of the fic which would either be as good or worse or be left w my other unfinished wips lol.

Also, this jake guy that got a shoutout seems cool, wonder who he is... 👀

"I'm running out of patience to pretend" - Melody can't keep pretending to be a normal human and chose to become River Song

"How can a human(Timelord) lose their self-control?" - The Doctor became Time Lord Victorious in the fic.

"Is it because I can't be her?" - River feeling self-doubt + the Doctor blaming her for not staying as Melody and living a human life.

"I can't fix you" - River can't fix the Doctor and the Doctor can't 'fix' the timeline so Melody have a normal life

A detail that would probably go unnoticed, I recoloured the Doctor's jacket to be darker for the clips with Mels and River to show his growing darkness.

"Cause I'd rather die than grow old without the best of you" - because River would rather die than be with 'this hollow facsimile who shares his face'.  

River refers to the Doctor in 3rd person when speaking to Dark!11 because he's not the Doctor, he hasn't earned that name.

Also, that match cut from Og!DoctorRiver to Alt!DoctorRiver was actually inspired by cut coreography from Hadestown where Persephone reaches for Hades and he grabs her hand but then she pulls away.

Decided to add colour this time.

If you'd compare this to my previous animatics for the fic, you can see he started wearing his bowtie again as a manipulation tactic then River took it off bc he's disrespecting what it represents.
