terra shook her head, julie shouldn’t have to apologize for what had happened to her. “don’t be, it’s not like it was your fault. besides, i came here to move on with my life, i probably shouldn’t mope about it anymore,” she said, brushing off the whole friendship topic. “i did,” terra confirmed with a nod. “i like you, you’re pretty funny,” she admitted with a chuckle. to this day, terra never really understood how she managed to come back, but she was alive so she didn’t really question it. “no… pretty sure i was completely stone, i didn’t feel a thing at all. i have no idea how i came back – but who knows, maybe i was mushy on the inside and had no recollection of it. unfortunately i can’t confirm this but i can’t deny it either, so the theory lives on.” terra laughed, nodding. “i figured that would take the cake.”
“moving on...” she laughed softly, a humorless tinge to her voice. “that is easier said than done.” there was a lot she wasn’t letting go of that spanned years --- all the way back to her childhood. “anyways... i like you too. but you know the only real way to test if this friendship will continue to blossom is if you can jump on board with the suicide.” julie let that sit for a moment out of morbid entertainment. before she rolled her eyes and laughed. “i’m not talking about the death kind of suicide. i’m talking about the drink where you mix everything at a soda fountain together. sprite, mountain dew, cola, fanta orange, all of it!” she raised her brow. her mind fell back to the stone thing. “you know i kind of think of the chocolates that are hard on the outside and gooey on the inside.”
