BONED.  oh no im sorry youre so right, the human only exists to give s/ans angst cause boo - hoo timelines (or to make s/ans a lovable dad figure). t/oriel only exists for puns (which s/ans loves). a/sgore doesnt even exist. u/ndyne doesnt either. a/lphys is on thin ice but really she’s only there for more angst fodder. g/aster is THE BIGGEST DEAL IN THE WHOLE GAME CAUSE S/ANS HAS A WEAPON CALLED THE G/ASTER BLASTER !!!!!

BONED.  im sorry if ppl dont like the idea of papy being that strong btw !!  or him being able to see the timelines !  i just really like the idea of him being this happy - go - lucky guy who has immense power but doesnt want to be scary, and is able to stay optimistic even in the face of the worst dangers. i know the disbelief au is / was super popular but i just... cant see him losing hope like that. im sure there are other papys out there that fit your fancy if this one doesnt !!  cause i wont write him any differently.

BONED.  quick headcanon in case anyone didn’t read this on my about page  --  my p/apyrus knows of different timelines and the existence of the game.  he, however, doesn’t understand quite what it means, aside from in a no mercy run when he can see the kid go through with the actions he’s seen in what he percieved to be  “ dreams ” .  and in these cases, he will still act kind and goofy in hopes that some kindness can stop them from going through with it. he knows he’s probably going to die. he knows this kid is dangerous. but his optimism and lack of of understanding  ( plus his lack of survival instinct )  stops him from really... not going through with it. in the end, he will always believe in the human. they could kill him a thousand times again, and he’d still believe they could change. he’d still believe they could be better. even when he sees everyone around him dying, he wants to believe.
