Wow. Wow. Wow. Jerrica is now 26 weeks pregnant and her belly button has now popped!

after weeks of waiting Jerrica & Thaddeus were finally able to see their baby again. As always Thaddeus had his fair share of questions and of course, they were answered. Still, midway through the appointment doctor Lianne turned the screen away and proceeded as normal with the appointment.

Jerrica: is everything ok?

*Doctor Lianne nodded her head while turning the monitor off and stood up. she reached into her pocket and grabbed her tape measure.

Doctor Lianne: yes but I do have some concerns your baby is fine but your belly is definitely measuring way ahead of 25 weeks.

coming home from working out Jerrica was stopped by Thaddeus who instantly got on one knee pulling her closer by her waist.

Jerrica: wha-what are you doing!?

she asked while looking down at Thaddeus. He pressed his lips up to her belly peppering it with kisses

Thaddeus:¿cómo está mi pequeño bebé [how is my little baby doing?]

a couple weeks passed since they had their last ultrasound and it only dawned on Jerrica a couple of nights that she should start documenting her bump. she didn't do it with the last pregnancy and she didn't want to miss that opportunity with this one

Thaddeus: wow wow wow hot mama coming through!

*Thaddeus whistles while Jerrica poses Jerrica playfully rolls her eyes but quickly does a couple fake poses

Jerrica: come on stop fooling around and take the picture!

*Thaddeus held his hands up in defense and finally took the picture. he placed the phone on the bed and wrapped his arms around Jerrica's waist

Jerrica: what are you doing i wanted to see the picture!?

*Thaddeus chuckled and placed a kiss on her lips.

Thaddeus: you look beautiful mi amor especially with my baby growing in you.

*he leaned down again and placed another kiss on her lips making Jerrica chuckle. he brought his hands around and caressed her bump

Jerrica: oh yeah? well thank you though i don appreciate our baby making me show so early on im only ten week!

*Thaddeus chuckled lowly while wrapping his hands back around Jerrica.

Thaddeus: hm well maybe there two in there and the doctor made a mistake

*he joked. Jerrica gasped and swatted his arm

Doctor: aaaand there is your baby six weeks to be exact congratulations.

*Thaddeus gasped

though they've been through this before he cant help but be shocked every time.

Jerrica: so everything is ok? you know given my history?

*the doctor hands her a to wipe off the gel on her belly as she prints out pictures.

Doctor: we will monitor you though out your pregnancy but as of what i can see the heartbeat is strong and growth is on track. as for your labs we will call you once we get the results.

*they both nodded their head and the doctor smiled at them

Doctor: again congratulations you too here you go.

after a week of sitting and contemplating telling Thaddeus, while he was at work Jerrica finally decided she was going to tell him. She set up an announcement and left it on the table for him to see.

*Thaddeus walked into the living room with a raised brow while dropping his bags

Thaddeus: jerr? what is this?

*he picks up the pregnancy test and closes his eyes not realizing that tears would soon follow

Thaddeus: you're pregnant?

*Jerrica nodded her head while slowly walking over to him

Jerrica: I-I didn't know how to tell you I didn't know- I don't know if we are ready I mean especially after.....

*Thaddeus placed the test down and rushed over pulling Jerrica into a hug and placing a kiss on her forehead.

Thaddeus: I'm here to support you no matter what you choose I know last time was really hard for both of us...

*he caressed the side of her face causing Jerrica to look up at him

It's safe to say both Jerrica and Thaddeus will miss Selvadorada

The following weeks leading up to the twin's arrival were filled with nothing but chaos. Anehera was still adjusting to her "big girl" bed refusing to sleep, calling out and crying to her dad that it was too dark or that a monster was in her room. Duane's supervisor kept him for longer hours which meant more time away from home, and even though autumn was overdue the twins could still come at any moment.

Autumn was restless having to deal with Braxton hicks and a fussy toddler but this routine had become customary for her until the "fake" contractions became consistent she tried to practice the breathing exercises that she learned with her first pregnancy.

the yoga ball wasn't working nor was the birthing pool providing her comfort. they didn't plan for a home birth this time since they were having twins but it was better to be prepared if anything went south.

by this time she was ringing off Duane's phone begging for him to come back and drive them to the birth center that was a couple towns over.

Thankfully after multiple calls Duanes supervisor finally let him check his phone and he dropped everything and drove home ( probably faster than he should have) he dropped anhera off at her grandparent house and headed straight to the birth center where they would spend the next couple of hours.

they of course had to wait for the pool to be filled up and in the meantime, Autumn was checked out by midwives. Having her vitals taken while Duane stayed by her side as the contractions ramped up in severity.

Duane: remember I'm right here I'm not going anywhere! Bite me if you need to!

Duane said as he massaged autumns hips Autumn could only respond in winces as she was hit with another contraction

the pool was finally set up and with the freshly warm water and her husband by her side, Autumn felt at ease for a moment. but that was short-lived. the water was supposed to ease her pain but only ramped it up more she cursed out loud gripping the edge of the pool.

Duane only did what he thought was best and took her bra off to release any discomfort she could have possibly felt. Autumn Suddenly reached out for his hand pulling him into the pool with her she was then overtaken by contractions again and Duane shook his head in worry.
