Im enjoying the longevity of tumblrs recontextualization style of humor. a seemingly innocuous post followed by like "posts that a gnome would make" or like "are you a phone"

it’s insane the way some people on twitter and tik tok talk about tumblr it’s like we lived in totally different realities. “omg remember when we all got body dysmorphia because tumblr was promoting disordered eating and unattainable beauty standards and also romanticizing goth boys and toxic relationships 🙄🙄🙄” what are you even talking about. back in 2013 i was too busy reading narusasu metas and calling stiles from teen wolf my beautiful son even though he was older than me. stay safe y’all tho
