we always have simon being rescued in space and being aboard the hail mary but im finking simon waking up on erid cuz he was found in 40 eridani's orbit and upon waking up, all delirious and weak, immediately bolts outside graces home and sees hes in a dome and tries to break the xenonite barriers with the one of various rocks on the beach
