why do popufurs always end up being shitty people?
There are some folks I consider popufurs and theyāre absolutely wonderful people! (As in, Iāve met them in person and they are SUPER NICE.)
What Iāve heard among the people who know certain popufurs who start turning nasty, is that the popularity goes to their head. They get an ego along the lines ofĀ āIām so much better than everyone else because Iām popular!ā, and then they think they turn bitchy and think they can get away with shit because theyāll have an army of blind followers to back them up. (Which sadly does sometimes happen.)
I donāt like to consider myself popular, but I suppose some people might since we have 700 followers on this blog and I have 700 followers on one of my FA accounts. If you consider me to be popular, all I can say is that Iāve done so by doing my best to be a good person. And thatās a good, honorable thing to be known for, and something I can be proud of.
One would hope more people would become popular for being good people.

You've had //SO MANY// people tell you that your behavior is an issue, but you keep on with this 'woe is me, everyone is so mean' bullshit. Maybe you should take the time to put two and two together and realize that, hey, maybe you are acting rude. Maybe you should try a new outlook or approach that isn't snapping the instant things don't go your way.

This definitely qualifies as a career highlight for me! The song was composed by Rebecca Sugar, and an initial demo arrangement was made by Jeff Liu, which Estelle sang over. Estelle is one of my favorite modern R&B singers, so this was a daunting and yet enticing proposition to arrange.
Taking Jeffās arrangement as a guideline, we really wanted to emphasize the euphoria of Garnet being reformed. Rebecca told us to capture the feeling ofĀ āthereās no way she could loseā. I also felt that the new Garnet design warranted a new Garnet bass sound (for those of you keeping score: where Pearl is piano, Garnet is represented by synthbass), so this was a great opportunity to showcase it. I also felt like the bridge needed a synth solo, so I went all out on this one!
Aivi did a fantastic job adding to this arrangement by making the string sections magical (especially at the end when the song turns dramatic) which were then beautifully performed by Jeff Ball. Everybody did such a great job with this song, and Iām extremely proud of the final result.
