On a romantic weekend away, Iris (Molly Gordon) discovers that her thought-to-be boyfriend, Isaac (Logan Lerman), is not as keen to put an official label on their relationship, wanting to keep things more casual while Iris thinks they're exclusive. This occurs after they have engaged in a kinky fun evening in bed, in which Iris chains Isaac, hand and foot, to the bed. Iris, pissed at how their romantic getaway has turned into an emotional nightmare, decides to punish Isaac by leaving him tied to the bed overnight. While he falls asleep chained to the bed, Iris goes down a rabbit hole spiral as she tries to figure out how to save their relationship. She decides that she will keep Isaac chained to the bed and force him to get to know her more, and thus hopefully causing him to realize she's what he truly wants. Isaac does not want to spend more time with her, especially chained to the bed, but in fear for his life, he goes along with her plan, hoping she would release him as she promised after 12 hours. He is almost released, but snaps too soon on her, calling her crazy and stating she would go to jail for kidnapping him. Instead of releasing him, Iris calls in her bff Max (and subsequently her bf Kenny) to help her get out of this situation. By the time they have arrived, Isaac is now also ball-gagged to keep him silent. The three discuss what to do with Isaac, including the idea of hitting him hard enough to cause amnesia or killing him to keep him silent - both of which Isaac overhears with horror, screaming into his ball-gag. They eventually decide to try giving him a memory potion (courtesy of Max's witch cousin) to make him forget everything that happened. While the girls make the potion, Kenny keeps Isaac company, reading to him and later giving him the "tea" potion. Isaac pretends the potion worked, having overheard their plan through an open window, and is finally released, at which time he finally makes his escape from the house and Iris.
As mentioned, Logan is chained to the bed for the majority of the film, with a lot of struggling moments as he tries to slip his hands out of the cuffs, reach for the keys, and flails around a bit in frustration. The ball-gag scenes are especially delightful as he lets out muffled cries of frustration, fear, and alarm. Logan does a great job acting both afraid and frustrated in this film. He is a very enjoyable whumpee to watch.
