How do you think Prowl does affection? He's so closed off from his emotions in the comics but I like to think he likes to keep a hand on his partner idly as much as possible (like shoulder, knee, hand, etc)
Anyway, I second this. It's a very good thought... I don't really have anything to add. I've talked about this before but I like to think of Prowl as a typical acts of service kind of guy. He does that thing you said but he also does your taxes
I'm going to use this opportunity to talk about something that i "noticed" but never bothered to point out because it's meaningless and nobody cares: Prowl is shown with a hand on someone's arm or shoulder while he's telling them something pretty consistently throughout the IDW comics, and by consistently I mean maybe like only 5 times but that's still 5 times more often than anyone else did. I imagine that Prowl uses touch as a kind of (failed) attempt at persuasion; it's like he's being very pushy or insistent. I'd even argue that he only does this because he's used to not being able to reach people.
I figure that the only reason this happens on several occasions is not because the writers (or artists, depending on whose input it was) were all in on this very specific thing, but because they all had the right idea about Prowl being the type of guy who might do that sometimes. That kind of behavior is more like a symptom than anything (in my honest and unprofessional opinion).

I'm reading thru idw and I got to the part where Prowl combined with the constructicons and went off mission from getting the enigma thing to killing spike do u think Prowl secretly wanted to kill spike and got carried away? Or was it like the constructicons collectively took control?
I don't know. I read it too long ago to give you a good answer. But based on what I remember I would say that no I don't think Prowl would normally want to kill a human person. I do remember that Spike was a piece of shit though and definitely deserved it

... no they are not married yet and here's why. this story is actually fucking crazy (not clickbait)
dunmii and prowlmii got along great right off the bat and soon enough started crushing on each other. this mutual pining went on for like 4 freaking days, and they were "ready to risk it all" during the majority of that period. playing the fucking long game over here... dunmii was the one to finally confess. prowlmii agreed and thats when they became sweethearts.
during that time, while prowlmii's feelings only went up, dunmii's feelings went down... by the third day prowlmii wanted to marry dunmii, but dunmii was not even getting along with prowlmii. the very same day that prowlmii told me of his desire to marry, dunmii confided in me about wanting to break up... which i obviously advised her not to do... but to no avail. a breakup scene followed, and dunmii and prowlmii became ex-sweethearts...
during this time, dunmii and prowlmii refused to speak. trying to make them interact resulted in them crossing their arms and stubbornly looking away, apparently feeling too awkward... so i did my research.
this is what the ex-sweetheart relationship levels between two miis look like according to the relationships guide on game8.co. you can make a relationship develop by triggering events, which in the case of exes is very difficult to do. and by difficult i mean there's an extremely rare chance the two will interact if you force them. from my experience, 99% of the time it won't work... but if it does work, the relationship level upgrades to the next. making one help the other out when they're in a pinch is a surefire way to do this, but dunmii and prowlmii rarely got into trouble. just my luck. the two ended up having interactions less than once a day. and in the time that they didnt, their relationship would stagnate. meaning that we kept moving one step forward and two steps back. they were in limbo.
THIS SHIT WENT ON FOR FIVE FUCKING DAYS. THATS A LONG TIME FOR A VIDEO GAME
i was honestly starting to lose my mind. i even considered deleting and remaking prowlmii... but that just felt so wrong. i also didnt enjoy that way of playing the game. it felt like it would ruin the point. on the other hand i was at my wits end. i couldnt find any information online about this. from what i had gathered it started to sound like exes could get back together, but would not interact until then. if that were true it would destroy the social dynamic on my island... that seemed like a huge flaw in the game to me, but i just couldnt find any other info.
and thats when dunmii fell in love with volomii. up until now i was preventing anything from happening that could boycott prowldeeymii's potential future relationship, but by now i was so exasperated that i just let her do whatever she wanted. volomii returned her feelings and asked me if he should confess to her. i told him to do it because who gives a shit anymore? so he did... AND THEN PROWLMII INTERFERED STATING HE TRULY LOVED DUNMII? REAL ROMANTIC BUT YOU'RE TOO FREAKING LATE BUDDY. unfortunately for prowlmii, dunmii accepted volomii. so those two are dating now.
however, right after that something miraculous happened, something i wasnt even aware was possible by that point: dunmii and prowlmii made up. they went back to being friends again, meaning they could interact again... thank god. 5 days by the way.
you think the story is over now but its not. prowl namely fell in love with dunmii again. he confessed and got shot down. got depressed. got over his depression (apples are his favorite), then fell in love again. confessed again. got shot down again. almost got depressed... but then immediately got over it all by himself, saying he refuses to give up. he spent all of his life savings on an urn and confessed to dunmii again. got shot down again. didnt get depressed this time, saying he got it "out of his system". fell in love again. got shot down again.
this happened in the span of two days.
theyre friends again... for now. but i know that wont last. so no, they are not married. first, they will have to defeat the evil that is volo. honestly i might kill him if i have to. i actually wont do that because it wouldnt be fun. but at least i cant let them marry at any cost. so yeah

What do you think about Prowl being canonically chubby/heavyweight? (Jazz saying he's too heavy to drag/spike commenting he's out on weight after his upgrade to combine with constructicons)
Well, the thing is that, as you said, Prowl's weight and size only become worth commenting on after his involuntary "upgrade". There's not much to think about here as it doesn't say much about Prowl's character so much as what was inflicted on him (and, as far as I'm aware, is only a temporary state. But I'm not entirely sure as it's not really made clear).
Heavyweight would be the correct term here. I don't remember if it was Griffith or Barber that said it and I don't know if it's written down anywhere, but I'm pretty sure one of the two referred to Prowl's new body as being the Transformers equivalent of buff rather than fat. I'll have to find some confirmation of that, though.
I think the comments by Jazz and Spike are just a cheeky way of reminding us of Prowl's transformation by making his environment react to the subtle changes that came with it.
The short answer is that I thought it was really cute and funny and I actually think about it a lot
