Tonight self-acceptance came across my mind. I think too many of us including myself spend more time trying to impress others rather then accepting ourselves just as we are. Why is it that who we are or the way we look isnāt good enough?Ā
Sometimes itās not good enough for a stranger, family, friends or even yourself. Confidence is hard to come by. It has pushed the buttons of perfection because someone told us there is only one version of what pretty looks like vs. ugly. Or dorky vs. cool. fat vs. skinny. Which is just crazy, cause who has the right, right?
{{Two sides to one person}} So with this we then have a version of us we portray to the world; the version we think everyone will accept and then the other side that only us and very few people we know see because thatās the real you. The real you if not meeting these invisible guidelines of society then isnāt allowed so in a way your hiding from the world.Ā Mental Health is one area where I did hide. I pretended to be happy for other peopleās sake and then would break down and cry when I was out of sight. Along with it I also hide things like my sexuality(bi), my weight(overweight), my appearance(face-acne,hair-wrong, self-harm scars-frowned upon), my mental health(bipolar, depression, self-harm), etc. I went through periods of not being able to look in the mirror or I also would be so obsessed I spent hours in the mirror just picking myself apart.
None of this is healthy. I want this post to be a reminder if anything that you should love yourself for who you are and FLAUNT it!!! If someone tells you your ugly, tell them no iām not your ugly for saying that. You are beautiful! If someone says your dumb cause you donāt know something - no your not your learning.Ā You are human. You deserve to rest easy and be yourself. Self-accept, that alone makes you strong and better then someone who wants to put you down.Ā If you are struggling with appearance, self-accepting, allowing yourself to just be human; message me cause this is a no judgement zone ā¤

I can understand having things planned and money invested, but if he somehow magically chose ALL the same design elements as Taylor Swift he needed to at least change the date or SOMETHING. Dang.

7.too tired to think ( random thoughts/pictures that go through my head right before I fall asleep)
8.illustrate a dream you had
9. what do you believe in ( about life/death, what comes after, meaning of it allā¦)
10. the butterfly effect
11.draw same thing in different mediums/ with left and right hand
12. favorite movie/series (favorite quote from it, scenes, how it made you feel)
13. what do you think about when youāre laying in dark,empty room
14. abandoned buildings/ playgrounds, empty train stations/parks, old houses
15. places where no one has been in a while and a nature got to it and grew all over the walls and floor, shattered glass, spider webs, sun rays shining through tree branches
these are just ideas and pictures in my mind I havenāt yet managed to put on paper and if anyone decides to use some of them and posts please tag me Iād like to see how you imagined it :)

something i wish i had realized earlier: you can write poems on the same subject more than once. you can write, paint, draw the same thing over and over if you want to. you can spend your whole life making art about oranges. i think i always felt this pressure to get it right the first time like i couldnāt go back and use that inspiration again. but you can. you can go back and revisit it. you can pick up the conversation again and again if you have more to say.

So alcohol induced blackouts- when your memories from the night before are either fragmented or completely gone are caused by a large spike in Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC). This often happens when we drink large quantities of alcohol very quickly, or if we havenāt eaten much that day- itās also much more common in females. When our BAC rises quickly, a structure in the brain called the hippocampus is affected.
The hippocampus plays a crucial role in memory. More specifically, it helps the consolidation of information from short-term memory to long term memory. Now when we add alcohol to the mix, our hippocampus canāt do itās job properly. Information in the short term memory canāt be transferred into your long term memory. So itās not really a case that alcohol makes you forget, the (long-term) memory is never stored in the first place.Ā
When alcohol is consumed excessively, more lasting memory problems can be observed. Heavy drinking leads to your body absorbing less vitamin B12 which can cause memory loss symptoms sometimes referred to asĀ āalcohol dementiaā which are generally irreversible.Ā
