TRAINER Marc Feigenspan (Duke Span) Freelance Sound Design & Engineering Bio Marc Feigenspan is a freelance artist, producer, composer, musician, visual sound designer and music psychologist. He develops and produces audiovisual ideas and concepts for film, radio and TV. His scope of work comprises composing and producing film music, sound branding, concepts and productions for spatial communication, especially for museums, trade fairs and events, as well as concerts with his own band Dukespan NYC. Experience - From a small concert ensemble to a major stage production with directing, film, dance and choral elements. - Live events: club concerts (up to 200 people), corporate events (up to 2500 people), public events and trade fairs (up to 500,000 people) - For five years he was personal assistant to the jazz legend Max Roach (drummer, composer) in New York City. - Other significant companions, mentors and teachers along the way have been and are: Pat Metheny, Dave Grusin, Eric Burdon, Wynton Marsalis, Cindi Blackman-Santana, Bob Belden, Reggie Workman, Ludmila Ulehla, Bernard âPrettyâ Purdie, Adam Nussbaum, Keith Copland, Joe Chambers, Kenny Washington, Jerry Gonzalez, Kenny Werner, Richie Beirach, Kirk Nurock, Theo Bleckman, Kenny Drew jr. etc. - After living over 13 years in the USA , Today Marc Feigenspan lives and works between New York, Los Angeles and Berlin.
