L-O-V-E is a word i never learned to pronounce!

I no longer have anyone beside me,

The pain of being the one left behind.

It’s funny how things are still the same,

But looking at them now hurt.

Like when you’re in the tube and somehow you’re searching for them.

When you’ve walked the same path a thousand times,

But this time around breaks your heart

Cause unlike before where your walk is filled with laughter and joy

You’re now surrounded with nothingness

It’s just you and whatever music you chose to cover that deadly silence.

When you see your room, step into it and suddenly burst out crying

Cause this time around, you’re alone with emptiness

Just sadness willingly accompanying you.

So you try and soften your whimpers for the rest of the world to not hear

How your loneliness sound like.

Cause for someone who prides herself to be independent,

You still end up craving for them to come back and be with you
