Brady: Contrarian... I think she sees so much more value in yourself than you do
Hey... I know that bit of empathy is such a miniscule thing to the average eye, but something that I have realized is that empathy makes me happier in understanding MORE of it!! I have never wanted to partake in emotional empathy rather than cognitive moreso than I have while watching Euro Brady....
I started to love slay the princess after beginning to watch this series, and im almost done with this episode (it being the final one) and the degree to which he has changed his roleplay-perspective after experiencing two endings with The Shifting Mound was very amusing. And the main point of this post is not for others to go watch the videos that he has made, but that this is my personal Tumblr, and I think that any of my friends should probably check out this game, through playing, or your content creator of choice. Your experience of this game may be different depending on who you watch, as a content creator is making the choices for you in a choice-based game. A main key in this game is perception. For me, this series has been an intriguing trip because he went into the game with a therapeutic perspective in mind... Ahaa, but let's not forget! If anyone has watched this playthrough of STP by Euro specifically, you remember how much he has mentioned the game reading his mind!!! Literally anything that he wanted to talk about in a therapeutic perspective was like able to be given depth within the game,, he couldnt predict it, it predicted HIM! but the game was inviting for him,,, which is also how it predicted him. The Shifting Mound is unique, and hated by most, but I can't help but have felt both perspectives of liking and resenting her. But firstly, although I can admit that The Shifting Mound has so much other reasons to be liked other than bias, I want to explain that my bias for The Shifting Mound is appreciation, and I am not sure how much of it counts as bias when this game has given me multiple perspectives to where I can both heavily doubt The Shifting Mound and love her. She honestly reminds me of so many good things aswell as the different princesses that we come in contact in the game with but also so many good things and I love the duality between her and The Echo in relation to how they count as bickering forces that are BOTH trying to convince The Long Quiet, and throughout many times in the game they both think that that's their purpose-- whether it's true or not.
While I have much to say about The Shifting Mound, I'm just keeping quiet about The Long Quiet. Who we play as in the game speaks lots to me, it is a game where your protagonist is shaped by your choices but not purely a self insert for the player. (Much like in No, I'm Not a Human) That's not a game design flaw, but it's my personal admiration that I feel when games do that-- that I am capturing in my sentence,,,,
