Renfield is inevitably the best part of any Dracula adaptation because his actor is the only one they allow to have fun with it

I do not judge Dracula adaptations on their accuracy, but rather on the level of homoeroticism and/or campiness

With that said, the following things need to be featured in more adaptations:

Quincey. You have the opportunity to put a cowboy in your Dracula movie and you don't do it? For shame

Dracula running around doing chores at super-speed

Dracula wearing Jonathan's clothes (they do not fit and he looks ridiculous)

Dracula's stupid unfashionable hat

Mina geeking out about phonographs and traveling typewriters

The shovel

Seward getting annoyed about the amount of insects. Not disgusted, just annoyed.

Dracula opening the door to SURPRISE WOLVES

Dracula's trip to the zoo

Quincey shooting at bats

My purpose as an artist is to draw sparkly guys with long legs and I am happily accepting my fate 🏵️✨

They still gravitate towards the same people a lot of the time, even if they're suddenly enemies, or just plain indifferent. Because irl, they're friends. They're just friends playing Minecraft, and sometimes they throw bricks at you and sometimes you write them throwing bricks because you still aren't satisfied </3

Peak examples of this are Gem and Pearl, Graecie and Sausage (specifically bannerfall vs the flight because contrast goes crazy). Even Scar and Grian although I cannot recall them ever being enemies (if they were I blocked it from my mind haha). Scott with several people because he loves his duos.

I love watching roleplay heavy smps like the flight because suddenly they're out of character just being silly and whimsical. And I love watching smps like Hermitcraft because they're genuinely just crazy talented people creating things and just being a big happy family. And I love the life series because everything is just blowing up and that's nice. Versatility brings me joy.

And I love the community that can see themselves in the stories being told. And that extends to fanfic as well <33

I just love mcyt. I love mcyt bonds and relationships. Romantic, platonic, ambiguous idc. It's just lovely, and well thought out and complex.

It's so late at night for me idk why I'm thinking about this but yeah. I'm glad I stumbled onto ldshadowlady's channel five years ago, bc it brought me empires, and then afterlife, and then Hermitcraft, and I managed to fall into outsiders and pow along the way. And everything else.

(The pipeline is actually more complex than that we don't talk about what came before yall.)

i think his characters are such a great example of the idea that grief is the culmination of love

we love, and loved, and we knew it might end in tragedy or just cease to be, and yet we loved. and the pain we feel every day is proof that the impact of those individuals was real and that they were there

so many of scott's characters are curse by grief in the most plain ways (the joke of him outliving many if not all of his loved ones on every pow smp is played, but very real), but that's only because they love so openly and so fiercely

I also agree with Phil and everyone who was affected by avid and Marm (particularly Scott and Cambam because of the blatant threats over their lives) should get a restraining order
