Looking back on it now, I feel like I got in a habit of subconsciously sending out Roxie to front at the start of streams. She's better at improv and being cheerful so she's the best at keeping a good mood going. I'd kinda hype myself up until I got into what I thought of as "performer mode" and in hindsight I think that's just what Roxie is. Ash Ketchum "I choose you" type shit. That's often why streams can be late, because it can take me a while to switch... Had a weird backwards situation the other week with HWBM where Roxie was out but the game was way too serious for her, so we had to forcefully switch in somebody else who could engage with the serious themes. Never did it backwards before, super weird experience, gave me a headache. Felt like trying to put her back in her box or something.

this is so real, even before i discovered my plurality i felt like i had a different version of me that would emerge on stage and she’s so powerful. lost her for a couple years when my gender crisis and early transition happened but she came back with a vengeance. I cant tap into her normally, she’s totally closed off and hidden away until i go up on stage. And i can never predict what she’ll be like

One of the things I love about being trans is when I'm talking to other trans people and I'm like "yeah bird and cat are definitely part of my gender" and they know what I mean and nod sagely and tell me about their various gender ephemera
