eating really hits good. like i’ll finish my shift exhausted and then eat a bunch of dunks and suddenly i have plenty of energy. i think i havent been packing big enough lunch lately.

imagine a guy getting betrayed and he's so pissed off that he wants to go stare up into the rain, but it's not raining so he turns off the lights and gets in the shower to simulate it

yeah yeah we've all seen porn posts where it's clear the author has never had sex, but the other day i saw a feedist post where the feeder-narrator took bacon out of the frying pan with his bare hands to put it on the feedee's plate.

Amazing. Definitely feels like something that evolved out of industrial machinery instead of out of humanoid robots.

And of course the second part of the tragedy, which is: which quadrant did you think you were in vs. which one you were really in

i DO believe that a good writer can make mischaracterization work. oh there's a character who doesn't normally cry? figure it out!! disect the character. make the situation cryable for them. make that character cry ugly tears even if it goes against their very nature. YOU CAN MAKE IT WORK!!!

A great piece of advice I've seen is "Don't fixate about what the character would never do. Think about the circumstances that would drive them to do this, even if they wouldn't normally."

like on some level i’m Maple on here, and then there’s the name i go by at work, and the name i go by at home, and the name i went by at home for a while before it got replaced by the current one and i kinda miss it but moreso in a longing for what could have been rather than much of a draw towards returning to it, and the one ive been kinda sorta tossing around for a while and tried out a couple times, and then sometimes my brain will pop up with something like “okay but weve always liked Faye, what about that one for us?”
