though it doesn’t serve as much of a horrid SHOCK, she still finds herself angered by his childish pout & words, enough to take that daring forward step & let energy rise more, near sparks seeming to lightly dance on her skin.

     “ i said LEAVE.”

       he hadn’t expected  her to back down &  he’s glad she lives up to that.         what fun is establishing DOMINANCE without a little RESISTANCE? his pout         slides upward on his face to form a SMIRK & he pulls himself up more. he is         not AFRAID of her --- he had seen the universe’s end. he was the champion         of death. he was THE MASTER. 

        ( but he had also run from war.   he had also cowered at losing.    but he still         sees his upper hand in this situation. ) 

sue him–on a regular basis, he enjoys the turbulence. he understands the blue stabilizers serve the purpose of keeping the TARDIS’ shivering to a minimal (which is why they’re dim and twitching), but he cannot ver- balize the amount of comforting pleasure the rattle provides. it’s familiarity, as mundane and insignificant as the attribute of his constant travels tend to   be. back hunched up against a structure near the console (a supporting arc), his knuckles burn white, a laugh thudding from his chest when he watches koschei fuss with the controls. quickly, it dissolves into a quiet panic, though when he performs without ill intent— 

the doctor shuffles forth when the ship stabilizes, one hand settling at the notch of his hip.  ‘ we’re flyin’ through space, don’t know if i’d call tha’ drivin’ anyhow–an’ i liked it like that, thank y’ very much. shoo. away from m’ console. ‘

       “ oh, you’re right, you’re absolutely right, i can’t call that driving at all -- “ 

         his acting is wonderful but, if you know him, then you would know the PAUSE          he leaves in the air is only just the BUILD UP to his punch line. 

         “ what you were doing is called CRASHING. “ 

         his eyes drop to the doctor & fixes him   with a large SMILE filled  with nothing          but false innocence. he leans himself onto the console, taking a tighter grip on          the controls.  the doctor may like his BUMPY RIDE but his dear master wants          for something SMOOTHER at the moment so he’s not backing down.  --- not          to mention    he also simply LOATHES   complying to direct orders    from the          doctor. even if he didn’t mind the turbulence he’s NOT the obedient type.

There’s a fury that ignites behind dark hues, color soon to shift to dim cerulean glow as POWER itself would rise, not only to bring her own shield but to be ready to strike out at the other, like a fury of bolts from hell’s storm if they didn’t find their selves backing away.

     “I won’t let you harm this realm, not today or any other !     So BACK OFF.”

       her power sends a crackling electricity in the air.     she is DANGEROUS &          he’s not oblivious to that.        however, neither is he FOOL enough to cower.          he has not yet given up.              so where SOME might back down in fear he          merely fixes her with a furrowed brow & juts out his lower lip; he’s POUTING.

chin lifted, brown eyes BLAZING resolutely ;; she is an image of COURAGE ( a core of STEEL ).

       she is a defiant one, isn’t she? good. it’s NEVER fun when they comply so          easily. he wants resistance.  he wants a HERO to give hope only so that he can          RIP it away.  & seeing as the senator has so KINDLY offered to be this glimmer          of hope due to her decline of his offer  for her to leave he isn’t one so RUDE to          deny her. 

    he pushes himself up from a railing he’s been GRIPPING to & takes a long stride      to the console to, rather, grip CONTROLS laid out there.      now, TECHNICALLY he’s      now ‘allowed’ to be driving   ( he is a bit of a hazard, after all )   but he CANNOT stand      this AMUSEMENT PARK RIDE any longer.      his eyes race over the mass of controls      before he reaches to YANK down a lever.   the TARDIS jerks itself upright so he has no      need to HOLD ON for life.   he takes this moment of PEACE aboard the ship to send a      tight FROWN at the timelord across the console.
