I will just never understand. I try hard not to judge, but once something is done to you personally, you begin questioning the minds of those who do it. Is it something related to self-control, to depression, to unhappiness? I received this rose a year ago. Not by a lover, but by a friend. It was the first time i had ever been gifted something on Valentine's Day. Even after its death I decided to keep it. Not because I loved it, but because I had gotten it out of love. That's when it dawned on me that I love holding onto things that have already perished. Not because I love them, but because they once loved me. Besides, the shadow still looks as young as it once did. // Dru Anthony. 🥀.

I have since worked on seeing the beauty within the reasons behind certain struggles.
