Was a pleasure to get new ink whilst in Sweden recently, I got a Krampus stepping onto my knee holding a Thurisaz rune done in a traditional dot style by Lukas of AncientSkin.Tattoo in Svenljunga.

I must say, this has been my best tattoo experience thus far, Lukas does a ritual with ink and the whole process is done with intention and energy in a beautiful pagan space. This design was drawn up custom on my skin and Lukas specialises in handpoke and traditional nordic styles of tattooing with the machine also. Mushroom got a Sleipnir on his shoulder and we were both looked after very well for the day – Lukas is a kind and intuitive artist who truly values the whole experience of the tattooing service for his clients. We also got to meet his partner Anka who sews beautiful garments at Helga.By.AnkaMiau – they were both so welcoming and supportive 🖤

Also a fair smattering of nedieval Welsh law, to be honest. It is both like TWAHK (it's medieval, it's about bodies in crisis, I got carried away with the historical thesaurus while editing it) and entirely unlike it (there's no romance, the sex is slightly more explicit, and I would dlescribe the mood as less melancholy but angrier and certainly not *happier*). It also has more women in it, though the gender of the protagonists is a bit of a shrug and a noncommittal hand gesture situation. It is a very trans book. They're all having an absolute time of it with gender in this one."
