tom keeps saying "32 episodes" king there's 33 <3

#i don't count the last episode personally #i think the series as a whole feels a little less unfinished and rushed to a conclusion if you see it as ending on #the very open ended shot of martin driving the boat out to sea with malcolm still unconscious from the medical trauma #i know the show got cancelled and they couldn't really wrap everything up nice and tidy but leaving things kind of ambiguous #feels better to me personally than all the curve balls we were thrown in the last weekend #it's more fun to me to speculate over where they're going and whether they can reconcile rather than #does martin live and how does dani react to seeing malcolm stab someone possibly to death after all the “i'm not a killer like my dad” stuff #martin's always been pretty opaque as a character and we don't really know his true motivations but the last ep felt out of character to me #idk im just rambling now
