#this is a very funny question to me. to answer the question though the real answer is i just don't care #like as other people have said there are people in the bible who were probably based on real people but if we're going by that then #like. to me the bible itself would then be rpf. bc there is no possible way everything written in the bible is true. and no way that if #these people existed there wouldn't be some exaggerations and manipulation of the stories.#(side note is it considered rpf if someone's writing about themself? like are y/n fanfictions partially rpf even if the other characters ar #fictional characters? bc like. you are a real person. idk what rpf counts as i think lmao.#(to be clear i'm not talking about like an autobiography but like fiction about yourself. anyway that's irrelevant #okay so my answer to this actual question is maybe but also who cares even a little #i think if you're going to sit and argue about the morality of rpf you could make a point about it being different if the people arent #around to be bothered by it but i also just don't really care if people are into rpf generally #like i'm not (except. well except that i will point out that hamilton IS rpf and i was VERY into that for a while). but people are allowed #to have fun in ways that might be weird to other people #the only time when I think it is a problem is if the fans are like. shoving it in the people's faces. like actually.#(which does not include just posting content. it would be things like sending them the stuff)#because then that's just crossing a line. so yeah idc. i do think this is very funny though #you know it is interesting to consider what the religious version of me from several years ago would have thought #I do not remember being that person enough to even have a guess really. like that is not me
