Next time you’re in Huntington Beach, CA you HAVE to check out Ola Mexican Kitchen in Pacific City! They have amazing food and drinks and a great outdoor bar area with a beautiful view of the ocean! 

What to drink: PUNTA NEGRA MARGARITA - BLACKBERRY/JALAPEÑO  Peligroso Silver- fresh blackberry- fresh jalapeños- sweet n sour- pineapple juice

What to eat: CARNITAS - Slow braised pork, fresh handmade tortillas, tomatillo salsa, pico de gallo and chicharron

My mom found this little gem on Groupon! It’s a cute little place tucked away right off the freeway. Perfect for an afternoon wine tasting! 

You can bring your whole picnic (we brought meat, crackers and cheeses) and they even have a full bar! (Which was perfect for my mom who prefers lemon drops to wine). They do beer tastings as well and after your tasting you can walk the grounds, visit their petting zoo and maybe even get a ride in the Jurassic Park Jeep! 

My dad and I were recently invited to attend the @madeforchefs event hosted by @theknottedapron in Uptown Whittier, CA

This event featured a throwdown between two local chefs. We got to be the judge as well as sample all the amazing food and local beverages! 

I FINALLY got to sample a taste from Bailey’s Neighborhood Juicery!  Can not wait for this place to open! Their juices are fresh squeezed, healthy and delicious! What’s not to like?! @baileysjuicery 

Next I tried chocolate coconut water for the first time... that’s right.. chocolate...coconut...WATER. And let me tell you it is PHENOM.COM I’m not officially addicted to this freaking stuff. It’s SO GOOD!

We also got to taste some amazing chardonnay from the local Rev Winery!

There are so many fun places to go in Malibu, CA! You guys probably saw my post a little while ago on Malibu Farm, a little cafe right on the water!

Seriosuly enjoying these amazing sour beers at @brueryterreux 🍺 My favorite is the Frucht Berazzled tart beer w/ raspberries...SO GOOD!!! Loving these little microbreweries! Chris and I LOVE sour beers so this is one of our favorite spots because they have a HUGE variety of beer! Especially when it comes to sours!  P.S. That chandelier tho... LOVE!
