Welcome!

Well, the good thing about the GSA is that it’s very open to and encourages the participation of allies. A lot of our actives happen during lunch time, and anything outside of school can be dealt with by saying “I’m going with/for a friend!” or “my friend is an officer and wants people to go to this event!”

We encourage everyone to participate with the club, but we also ask people to know their limits. For example, if you have homophobic parents, maybe buying a rainbow flag or wearing a fabulous outifit at pride might not be the right move.

I hope everything is alright with your parents! Please participate, but only if you think you’re in a safe enough place to.

Hi there! I definitely see where you’re coming from, and would love to have a meeting where we speak about mental health, helpful resources, and healthy coping mechanisms. As for the support, I know that every member of our officer team is willing to lend a hand, or even a shoulder to cry on! Hey i’m Elise! I’m mixed (black + white), bisexual, female aligned, she/him. Depression, anxiety, and ADHD effect me heavily in my life, so if you need to ever to talk about it, im always here! I’m also very open for talking/asking about how race plays into being LGBT, and how to tackle racism and colorism within our community. So yea.. hmu with those asks B)

I’m Oliver, a bisexual trans man and my pronouns are he/him/his only. i’m hispanic, native american, and asian. I’m also Catholic (and super religious) so if people need help with that sort of stuff, it’s lit! I can also help with what HRT is like, the effects of T, what top surgery is like! I can also help with what struggling with depression, eating disorders, and autism is like along with being LGBT.

hey hey i’m dani !! i’m biracial (latina + white) and a pansexual child !! i use she/her pronouns and have dealt w a lot of anxiety and such in my time as well as gone through the long process of determining my sexuality and am still kind of going through the process of questioning it as well, so if you need help w things like social anxiety and anxiety in general and just the process of questioning, i’m your girl !!
