and throughout the whole tirade Steve's gazing up at him so adoringly, hearts in his eyes, his IV-hooked hand reaching for any bit of Bucky he can loosely grab at, so completely smitten it hurts to watch; and the one and only time he manages to tear his eyes off of Bucky, it's only to sluggishly look back at the nurse and slur, dreamily, Told ya. I'm the luckiest guy in the world.
