I AM OFFICIALLY AN AMERICAN CITIZEN!!!  @taylorswift​ i know you know how much you speaking up about politics has meant to me and I am so so excited to tell you that I can finally VOTE!! It’s been hard to stand by and not be able to do anything while I watch the country I love change in ways that hurts so many people, and now that I’m a citizen I’m so excited to get to use my voice (and vote!!) for good. Thank you for constantly inspiring me and for using your voice to speak out about injustices and push for people to vote for change when I felt like my voice was silenced with my inability to vote. Thank you for caring about the struggles minorities like me are going through and have gone through. And thank you for caring enough about me and my personal struggles in Alabama and inviting me into your home and letting me talk and hug it out with you. I’m endlessly grateful for you and now I’m endlessly grateful for the fact that I can vote to make a difference in this country. You’ve taught me over and over again that one person can make a difference and that every single voice counts and is valued. I love you so so much (and once again per my last letter to you I’m crying but happy tears I promise!) and I’m so so excited to be able to VOTE in the upcoming elections. You’ve always made me proud so I hope I’ll be able to make you proud too. Love you a long time T
