this is probably my most complex and time-consuming work of 2024!!! inspired by Kirby Star Allies and past Galacta Knight encounters: this 'comic' is an interpretation of Galacta's "scream of life", combining canon events from semi-non-canon game modes with my headcanons. I know it's not really a comic, but i've been calling it that, since the idea originated as one. It originally had dialogue, or monologue more accurately, but me, the writing genius™ (not) hadn't written it down. So I forgot it. The sketches remained, and the 2023 idealing has evolved into a full digital painting in mid 2024. Ever since then, I learnt to write down ideas, haha Here's the initial sketches:

The finished product itself is in two parts! The second, though, is more focused on my AU than canon. And so, I see this piece as something of an introduction to my AU, despite only showing in-game events. The second part I'll post later... still unsure how to introduce my AU properly. It might take a while, but I'm figuring it out! To be fair, it was supposed to come in 4 parts. The first, was finished, but I deemed it too simplistic compared to the next two. This is technically part 2, the other finished one is part 3, and part 4 was never finished. Part 4 especially digs into my AU ideas, which date back to 2022, and mostly focus on Galacta's and Morpho's relationship. Because I just am like that. I cannot be normal about them. Other fun tidbits: -this is the scrunkliest i've drawn Dedede ever -i've used Kirby from the sketch as an icon on my old twitter art account way before i actually finished the painting (not that anyone would know, remember or confirm this) -i studied the way galacta slashed nightmare in super kirby clash frame by frame to get it as accurate as i can -i was sketching this on call with my girlfriend. i had screen share on but only for the browser. they said my cursor was "dancing like a ballerina" -there's a certain somebody hidden in-between (though it might be hard to tell bc of nightshade artifacts) Finishing this part spawned this doodle, so please take it as a little treat before the second part (no matter how long it might take me to actually post it)
