“I think we could manage that,” Pepper nodded when she heard Wanda. Honestly, it could probably do them both some good to have someone they could call in case they needed support, figuring out how navigate through life… and just have moments like this. She liked the idea of that. Pepper needed to get over her general upset with the team… she didn’t blame them - because she knew Tony would never be able to live with himself if he didn’t help… but she did find herself distancing herself from the team. 

Taking a sip of her tea, Pepper leaned back in her seat. “We can definitely get to know each other better,” she had agreed with that. “You’re welcome over whenever… the whole team is, I just haven’t really reached out. By the way, where are you currently staying?”

Wanda hadn’t even thought about where she could stay. She had figured that she would find an empty house somewhere and just stay there for a little while. Until she found somewhere else that she could settle down in. Somewhere that she could lay low.

“Well I am a terrible cook. But I can make some pancakes, as long as I don’t burn them.” He let out a low laugh and gave Wanda a small smile. “Or we can not risk our lives with my cooking and we can go out to eat.” He raised a brow. “I know this diner not too far from here, it’s within walking distance of here too.”

Pietro laugh at his sister’s words. “Of course you can.” He gave her a light smile. “If it doesn’t work out here, if we can’t stay here with them. We’ll find somewhere else. Somewhere safe to go.” He knew this was probably there best shot. The safest place for them to be without someone coming after them.

❛ Ah, no, it was never a conversation we had. I think we’re more of the “fun aunt and uncle” types! We can handle babysitting but not one of our own. Not that Ralph really seems to want one anyways. ❜

“He’s been asking for you and I’d decided that even if I couldn’t talk my father into it, I was taking you today.  At least he finally came to his senses though.” She sighed, “I thought, we could go pick your brother a few things up from the store that he’ll need before we go over and get him to transfer him here.  I’m going to be training with him to make sure he’s doing alright because I’m the only one that can keep up with him and help him if something happens.  No one here wants to see something bad happen to either of you.  Besides, I’ve become quite fond of spending time with him so I wouldn’t want him to have to go back to the hospital.”
