THEY DIDN’T HAVE A SAY in the Christmas decorations around the bar. flynn felt indifferent. he was mostly annoyed that they had to come in a little bit earlier than usual to both complete their usual job as well as deck out the halls. it wasn’t as if anyone would appreciate it. maybe some of the college girls, at most. but they were mostly the bar people went to for cheap drinks ( and eye candy, or at least that’s what flynn claims people come for ). not the vibes.

he'd just finished hanging some tinsel that was as shiny as his skin after a facemask, when he notices something in the box. he quickly picks up the greenery as he walks over to the side of the room jyn was decorating. he knew better than to ask if she was enjoying the extra work.  ❝ first off, don’t kill me. while you’d get more tips that way, you’d also be miserable having to work a shift on your own. ❞ flynn states pointedly. he knows his demand would fall on deaf ears if she really wanted to cause him bodily harm. which is why he holds up the mistletoe before she can ask questions. ❝ I know traditions are lame but it would be bad to start off the night sour when we’re supposed to be fake getting into the spirit ❞ flynn says with a smirk as he leans in to close the space between them and press his lips against hers.
