Hiatus.

so for first off I apologize for the longest radio silence across this blog as a whole and those waiting on replies. Muse + energy for this blog as a whole as be greatly waning and very low the past couple months.

“Alright here we go this contraption if it works should earn me the grand prize at the symposium tonight! now to place the refined aeonstone carefully Haven or else..boom.”

Holding the small shimmering stone in her gloved hand Haven would carefully place it within the chamber of the machine she had built. Proceeding to power it up she would smile as it would begin to work only for a short time before shorting out and going kaboom pushing Haven into a wall sending her unconscious.

Awakening to find herself not inside the testing room of the school but rather outside in some forest. Haven would try to get her bearings before coming to her feat. 

Darta headed back out the way the two came in as quickly, & as carefully, as possible. She didn’t want to stick around any longer, in case something tried to attack them. Not that she didn’t think they couldn’t handle themselves, because they could, she would just prefer not having to fight anything today, if at all possible.

“ Well, whatever it is, I’m sure it can wait until we get a bite to eat – I skipped breakfast this morning so we could get an early start. I could go for some griffon, so lead the way, Eberwolf! ”

“Yeah!”

With a wide smile Eberwolf would rush out of the cave as their stomach started to grumble more. Giving a whistle Eber call forth their favored ratworm pet and another one for their fellow coven head to ride alongside on. Hoping on Eber would turn to the other with a smirk and mild concern upon their face.

          “  That sounds about right,  ” she answered. Well, she should consider herself lucky for coming across the coven leader, then (although was it worth it over the price of her anxious, beating heart?).

As she followed behind the other, she then stopped & blinked at them. Already? Quietly nodding at them, she took a few steps back as instructed & observed the other at work.

So this was how they worked…

“Heave-ho! Here we go!” 

Back flipping as they gripped the rope tightly. Eberwolf would plant their feet deep in the ground pulling down a flying griffin wrapped in the rope. Slinging a small spell circle to calm the griffin as they released it from the snare. 

“ Nailed it! ”

Eva did a fist bump of triumph as she managed to make it through the obstacle course, that she created with her construction magic, in RECORD time. She had flown off into the woods, not wanting to go home yet after school (& knowing her dad would be busy, anyways), but she hadn’t anticipated being … watched.

It wasn’t until she had hopped off her staff that she noticed something rustling in the bushes.

“ Hey, who’s there? Show yourself! ”

“That is quite rude huh?” 

Jumping from the bushes and shaking off the water and whatever else muck they were rolling round it. Eberwolf would scratch at their ears while they poked fun at the other they were spying on.
