Dreams are but another reality

He smiled hugely when Harper asked about the wedding, still fresh in his mind. ‘It was perfect,” Brady answered. “The cake, Matilda, seeing how beautiful she was in her wedding dress-everything was just right, you know? Just for one day it was just about us and it felt just…” he had no more words as he kept thinking about his wedding day and how perfect it was.

 “ I can’t wait to see the pictures. I don’t know of a couple more perfect for each other then you two.” She said with a smile. She gave a long drink of her coffee. 

Brady shrugged-that morning at the Bed & Breakfast he had to fix some of the tiles of the roof, but other than that it was a normal quiet morning for him. “I’m doin’ good, hangin’ in there, you?”

 “ I am good.” she said after taking a sip of her coffee. “ I was up late studying for my chemistry exam.” she continued explaining. “ Not that I need to study much. it is a pretty easy exam on the different compounds found on earth. Standard stuff. How was the wedding?” she asked curiously. 

Abigail took the money, put it in the register and handed back her change.  Since there weren’t any other customers, she figured it’d be okay to talk to the other woman.  “Study?  Are you a student at the university?”  She asked curiously.  Maybe they had a couple classes together and didn’t even know it.  “It’s alright.  It’s not the most glamorous job but it pays the rent so it’s not bad.  Could be a lot worse.”

 Harper nodded as she munched away at her cookie dough. “ Medical science student.” she explained with a warm smile at her. She personally didn’t have to worry about rent as long as she stayed in school her dad would pay for it all. But if she wanted spending money she had to earn that herself. “ I work part time at the tattoo parlor between interning and school. “ she explained as she took a big bite of cookie dough.
