I thought I was gonna hate being at camp but it was actually a vibe? Had so many new experiences, like getting lost in the forest for a few days, eating an uncooked sausage, having a deep conversation under the stars, accidentally pranking the wrong person, having my first kiss (twice) on the last night, and then at the end of that night I made friends with the woman who washes dishes and we had a nice chat about music :)

(Hopefully if I keep playing my guitar loud enough my mom will send me back here next summer…)

At the end-of-camp party, a load of us played spin the bottle, and I ended up having my first kiss (twice) which apparently makes me an adult now? And I was so cool about the whole situation. It was a good night 😏

We had everything ready to prank the mean kid, but it all kind of went completely wrong :/

(Though TECHNICALLY it wasn’t my fault? I mean I guess it partly was but that’s unrelated…)

There was this new kid earlier who took my bed and was just really rude to everyone, but luckily I saw Pop again and we came up with a plan to get back at him >:)

I caught a couple kids stargazing outside past curfew a few nights ago. I was never much of a rule stickler myself, so I told them they could have five more minutes so long as I could join them. :>

We ended up talking about our dreams for the future, and I guess I’m going to have to try to go to space now..?

Anyway, that whole session reminded me of this little mission I signed up for two years ago:

I love making things since there's not much else for me to do at home. Once I collected enough of those see-through colorful candy wrappers and hung them by my bedroom window so when the sun shone through it made my room look all psychedelic.

that's what I'm hoping for, although I don't think I'd be a very good popstar. i'm not really much of a performer, I'd be better off doing something in the background. like maybe just producing music but never having to ever perform it.

(i've never performed to anyone before.....)
