The Rants and Ramblings of a Repressed Mind

Getting hit on because of my gray hairs is a new for me. Got that daddy look.

Never be accidentally important at work or overly helpful. I tried to get something done at 9 am and got interrupted over 20 times and then someone came and asked me if I was done yet and I went off jokingly. But damn it was frustrating. And then I’m getting constant emails and teams messages all day and then someone calling my name every 10 mins. I had to fix something the IE couldn’t and then fixed someone’s computer when the IT guys said he wasn’t sure how to do it and would have to research it. I’m not even trained on their shit. People kept calling my name when I was trying to leave to go home and I finally just kept walking. It’s not even that I’m knowledgeable which I am but I get it done fast so they don’t even bother asking anyone else.

I said I would never ever date someone at work. But for her I might make an exception.

Look a little closer at anything and you’ll find serenity or sorrow. The deeper you look the more you feel of them or for them. We know so little of what we see until we see beyond what we know.

Again, first time going to someone’s house and they warn me their dog is super shy and may bark. Dog immediately comes up to me and starts licking me and wagging their tail. Got told their cat is temperamental, cat comes right over to me and starts rubbing against me. I’m telling you, I have a connection with animals. People? Not so much. Animals are predictable, people are not. That’s what I have anxiety.

I can tell I’m getting older when my new favorite company is Ninja.

Gonna start posting pics of my veiny arms to lure in the RNs.

For a long time, it was my delusions that kept me company. Now, they keep me from it.
