i am not my body. i am not my mind. i am not my thoughts or my feelings. i am all that there is. i observe the unfolding of now through a keyhole that is my current form. the perspective i have creates meaning. it’s all one, but the limitation of seeing only through this current, singular form has created a specific experience, narrative, and meaning that is my life.
when we create art, we’re like a sculptor who starts with a block of marble and creates the image through carving away the matter. we omit certain details and highlight others in storytelling in order to create meaning that is specific. the meaning comes from intentional restriction
