my dumb friendship idea: phillippe and morton

it feels like they're both on the spectrum. phillippe speaks bluntly, is easily irritated by others, and feels forced to mask so he's not killed. morton is... well, morton

maybe in this au morton thinks he's still a moth and wanted to regrow him? phillippe is bored. more so pissed off that it has to be around... him. despite that, the more words that comes out of the cricket's mouth, the more he's... interested? and besides, there's nowhere else to go.

i dunno, there's at least something here to be had.

ohhh i really like these two as a pair thank you for sending this .. guy who exists for treachery + concealment made to interact w a guy so authentically Himself that it feels impossible even as phillippe watches morton in action. a life he could never live yet close enough to touch. if that makes sense

#first time drawing phillippe ever. looking a bit off but idk why so all welllll #a moment of honesty. i do not care for phillippe much at all his one joke immediately got old and i dont find everything else compelling--#--enough to think abt too much but working on this little comic is endearing him 2 me just a little. maybe its bc i havent done a run--#--w him in the party im too busy grabbing papineau as a temp member and ending up w him full time bc i got distracted and levelled beyond--#--everyone else LOL

AGREED im such a sucker for ppl brought together by terrible circumstances making the best of what time theyve got left. why not live the little life youve got left to the fullest

thank you !!! that jasper + aurelius comic is both the most overt romantic astronomer thing (though anything ive done w them is thru that lens unless otherwise stated LOL) and the only thing ive completed for that au so i dont rlly have the need for a tag yet but i DO have plans for fics and such later on so i may organize it a bit better when the need arises
