Here is a cheap mandolin from Asia. Very cheap string instruments are often hardly playable or not playable at all, although the basis is not bad. It starts with the original strings, which are often of poor quality. In order to achieve a sensible and enjoyable playing experience, the following was done:  (General overhaul of a mandolin) - Truss rod adjusted -Nut notched deeper - Frets finely trued and polished -The bridge has been repaired and lowered -Intonation corrected a little -Maximum adjustment travel of the bridge corrected (was no longer sufficient) -Strings exchanged for D'Addario EJ74 (11-15-26-40) -- Hier ist eine billige Mandoline aus Asien zu sehen. Oft sind sehr günstige Saiteninstrumente kaum bis gar nicht spielbar oder bringen keinen Spaß, obwohl die Basis nicht schlecht ist. Das fängt schon bei den Original-Saiten an, die oft von schlechter Qualität sind. Um ein vernünftiges und erfreuendes Spielgefühl zu erreichen, wurde folgendes gemacht: (Generalüberholung einer Mandoline) -Halsstab justiert -Sattel tiefer gekerbt -Bünde fein abgerichtet und poliert -Saitenlage niedriger gestellt -Intonation etwas korrigiert -Maximaler Einstellweg der Brücke korrigiert (reichte nicht mehr aus) -Saiten gegen D'Addario EJ74 (11-15-26-40) getauscht
